No one is thinking about a darn student loan. People are worried about the price of food, housing and gasoline.
Add the taxes and insurance on a house. I have to come up with an additional $2100 bringing my tax and insurance on my very modest home to almost $7000 per annum.
@@onemercilessming1342 Some people I have talked to have had there rates go up 400% just for homeowners. I fear many will be forced into foreclosure and we will have 2008 all over again. I hope I am wrong, but it sure getting super expensive. My Car insurance has doubled and my homeowners has doubled and I now have to have flood insurance required in 2023, wasn't required ever before that. I've lived in my house since 2004.

I worked full time while going & graduated with top honors. After I finished school, I worked an additional part-time job until I was debt free. It was hard as heck, but I don't think anyone should have to pay another person's debts. That includes rent, utilities, clothes, cars, or anything else. People need to realize you don't have to have a "perfect" job. They DO need to work for what they want.
My son worked a full time 40 hours + and paid his way through without any help from his dad and I. The kids need to learn how to live on a budget.

I had a student loan. I paid off my loans. I don’t owe anything to these kids. Pay off your student loan by getting a JOB!
It grows the economy?? My taxes (and yours), instead of going toward infrastructure, not only provided the funds for the loans in the first place, now also pay them off instead of requiring the borrower to fulfill his/her contract with Uncle Sam.

should be illegal... what I would like to see is an increase in food stamps that I have to collect every month. I just started doing it last month it's got desperate for me and it was very degrading for me to go to the office to actually ask for help.. and when I got help, it's 291 a month, I'm thankful and everything for the help, but after three weeks, I had no money left at all... so the last week I had to go without I didn't eat .. now I can understand why certain times of the month there are a lot more begging on the street here in Arizona and across the country because 291 is not cutting it add another hundred dollar should be about right .. mainly inflation is what causing that issue and I only eat once a day and it still came up short. Maybe I'll try the food bank but still the food banks are run by the church and I'm not religious. We shouldn't have to go that route. It should be done by the state and government not private entities where they try to bribe you into becoming what they are. people will do it just to fake it just to get the help. It's kind of like predatory behavior by private entities when people are desperate they need and these are the first ones that are on top of it when it should be the government.
I'm a trade worker I've gone to schools that I didn't need to take out a loan for because I would never bury myself in debt! If they're loans aren't important enough for them to pay back they're certainly not important to me to have to pay for! I get paid by the hour!
