I am a senior citizen during the pandemic. My food stamps were to $320. A month after The pandemic it went down to 67.00 I don't think they really care about senior citizens.

When I visited Australia (Sidney, Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas) for two weeks in February, many of my Uber rides were in autos made in China. The China made cars like MG are fantastic because they are priced less than $25,000 (US) and perform excellently. I wanted to ride in a BYD but the opportunity did not present itself. Americans need a great $12,000 car. Drop the tarriffs. There will be more money in family budgets for retirement savings as car payments will be more than 50% lower.

That is just not true. I am disabled and I'm not proud to say that I'm on food stamps but the higher everything gets the food stamps does not stay the same or go up they definitely go down. I'm barely getting any and I am not able to afford to even buy any kind of meats or anything healthy. If I'm lucky I'm able to get eggs milk cheese butter bread and a few other main items. No I don't know if that's everywhere but yeah it doesn't go that far a month and I'm very cautious on what I buy and I try to go for the cheapest. Disabled people and seniors just are not making it that well anymore food stamps do not go up
People don’t understand that Chinese tariffs are in fact they going to add to the inflation. Many companies have products made in China because labor is inexpensive and their infrastructure is extremely strong. I have almost 20 years experience in this. The people that pay the tariffs are normally small businesses that are importing products from China. It is interesting however that cell phones received no tariffs so companies like Apple don’t pay anything extra.

Work for what they get!, please I was on disability, when I had been on it 2years now I get medicare I pay up to 5000.00 dollars more on my medical now, they gave me a life line of 23.00 a month for food, so you tell me, If I could work I would be so much better off but I can't and this 23.00 adds to my monthly income and guess what it puts me at just the tipping point to get the help I need, to get insurance that would actually cover some of my medical bills.
It would sure help with infrastructure, and with removing poo and needles from our sidewalks. As well, cleaning public restrooms often destroyed by street folks with mental problems. Giving back hardworking, taxpaying Americans what they have paid for OVER and OVER and OVER.

I've been disabled since 2001. I've been on disability and social security for 23 years now and every time I go to get food assistance they cut me off after 2 months. They give me food assistance for a month maybe two and then I'm cut off. I don't understand why this is. You'd think I could get food assistance indefinite. It really makes no sense. I know they're assisting people that aren't even American citizens yet I can't seem to get lasting assistance.
