    Won Ton Soup is a famous Chinese soup that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. It can be made with pork, chicken or shrimp and is often garnished with char siu, shrimp, crab, green onions and cilantro or Chinese parsley. When noodles are added, the soup dish is then called won ton mein.

      Make a lot, freeze individually on trays and put in a ziplock bag so you can take out only what you need.

    If you put a wet wash cloth under your cutting board it won't slide as much

    Hi leonora, when you say soy sauce, can you be specific...kikoman, aloha or just soy sauce, not all are the same. It does make a difference in a dish I think. I love your videos!! Thank you for all of your knowledge and sharing your great recipes 😊

    • @HawaiisPickleLady
      @HawaiisPickleLady  Před 3 lety +4

      I prefer Aloha. Not as salty to me. Kikkoman is salty. Try low sodium soy but it's more privy. Experiment, you can also dilute it.

    I've had won ton soup with an Asian spinach in the broth. Do you know what type of spinach it is that some Chinese restaurants use?

    Still. could not find steam pork hash at your online site. Is it the crispy gau chi or crispy won ton ingredients, then make a pattie and steam it? Sorry to be so much trouble.

    • @HawaiisPickleLady
      @HawaiisPickleLady  Před 3 lety

      Don't have steamed pork hash. But you can just use the pork hash from the won ton, put it in a shallow dish and steam it for 30 minutes. I like to add some cha gwa (canned small cucumbers in soy sauce and sugar. You can also add a salted duck egg yolk or salted dried fish.
