I came across your video accidentally. My husband and I are from Hawaii as well and we live in California now. You brought a taste of home in your recipe, Mahalo.
@@HawaiisPickleLady Just did 3 tonite. Very crisp…can do as far as u like. Have Cosori Dual Blaze a/f, about 8 min. Dont have to flip as heat comes thru the bottom of basket. Noodles don’t stick, did not spray any oil. Love ur content and rely on many of ur vids to cook at home. Thank you.🤙🏼

Oyster chicken cake noodles is one of my favorite dish to eat, thanks for sharing,I was wondering where did you get your stove from?need one like that mahalo!!
Wow! This looks absolutely AMAZING!!! What is the exact noodles to buy to make this? Is it in the refrigerator section? Can I get it at Times Market? I’m going to be trying this sometime soon!!! Thank you for sharing your expertise!!! 😘😘😘
Look for chow mein. Probably can get it at Times but more expensive. There's no factories in LV so I have to buy the packaged type from LA. Many years ago when I lived in places with no Oriental products, I would cook and drain spaghetti noodles and fry it and it wasn't bad.
Thank you for sharing this recipe! Cake noodle is my favorite! Would I have to cook the noodles longer in order to cut the "cake" into squares? Or would I press the noodles while cooking with a weight of some kind? Thanks again!!
My Chinese chicken salad is premiering today 2/21, at 8:30 pm, PST. But you can use less chicken and sugar substitute. I'll be making more Keto recipes. Also look at my avocado mousse and use maple syrup instead of sugar.
I love cake noodle thanks for teaching us

Thanks for sharing. I will try this recipe. It looks delicious
Easy to do. When Chinese noodles were not available, I used to use spaghetti noodles, the thinner ones are better.
Yum, better than restaurant
Can you do another topping ....hawaii’s #1 favorite boneless minute chicken cake noodles.
Experiment, any kind of topping will do with, beef, shrimp, squid and pork.

They used to sell crispy noodles in a cake form. Now you have to make your own, but delicious and easy.
Awesome!!! Can't wait to make this. So glad to have found your channel.
I remember trying this in the restaurant like 35 years ago !!

Wait... it that a blue diamond pan? I've gone through way too many "non-stick" pans. Cake noodles are my favorite. Now I can make your recipe!!!
The pan I use is a Ballarini. Has a lifetime guarantee. You don't need oil. You can use metal tools. We'll be putting it on the website.
That looks goooood! It’s been a while since I had cake noodle.
I think it might just be the most frequently bought side dish in Hawaii that the local people do not themselves cook.
Right.
True dat-cuz it's 2 dang expensive
That was very interesting, I like to try it.
Go for it!
Thank you for sharing this recipe! Cake noodle is my favorite! Would I have to cook the noodles longer in order to cut the "cake" into squares? Or would I press the noodles while cooking with a weight of some kind? Thanks again!!
Probably, it's trial and error. Maye add little more oil and make the cake thicker but be careful not to burn.
@@HawaiisPickleLady Thanks for your advice!
Looks more local if you cut the cake into squares.
Any way is fine. I know the restaurants and take out do it this way.
Aunty... can you adopt me? The “island” food in Utah is junk!!
lol.
I'm doing Keto lifestyle change. Any Keto recipes would be greatly appreciated. :}
