I can't be the only one that's kind of impressed with how the models for the rat and bird hold up when Spiderman is that close-up.
I was also impressed. I found myself saying "damn, that's a good looking rat" and was suddenly very glad I live alone
You could have shown some gameplay with the Cyberpunk gun...but noooo you had to give me PTSD again from that mission!
my fav unlock was when COD stopped doing split-screen , it unlocks my ability to stop buying the game

You can still play MP split screen. They haven't included split screen zombies since Cold War though which is BS.

The original resident evil 4 had some cool bonuses after completing the game like assignment ada, seperate ways, mercenaries, Chicago typewriter, the charge lazer weapon , costumes and so on 😊

I never knew Green Hill Zone was in Sonic Adventure 2. Damnit, man, I remember my cousin accidentally deleted my file that was nearly 100% complete. I never bothered to try and 100% it again after that.
Alpha Protocol needs to be remade for the later game stations.

I know it's not really "unlocking" anything but I like the way Guardians of The Galaxy isn't actually over at the end, didn't want to spoil it for anyone but people who have beat it know what I mean. Great game in my opinion.
in my opinion the best thing to do after beating a game is exploiting glitches. Since the game is already beaten, it doesnt really effect the progression, so they are just stupidly fun to screw around with without any worry of messing up the gameplay experience.
Playing as fat Nathan in Uncharted 2 was the pinnacle of a reward for beating the game for me.

I know I've seen the previous parts to this series but I can't remember if one of my favorite unlocks was included before. For me, the end of Horizon Forbidden West, when you unlock the ability to mount a Sun Wing, was absolutely mind blowing. The amount of extra hours I put into the game afterwards just because flying around was so much fun is insane.
I found it slow so I barely used it tbh

Alpha Protocol, probably one of the only games that understands how to properly utilize difficulty levels. Being an inexperienced recruit shoud make for a harder game mode, where as a battle-hardened vet should actually be the easier mode. Yet, most games seem to have this backwards.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet but this new indie game Withering Rooms is AWESOME and NG+ is full of incredible surprises and all kinds of new stuff. And the fact that the whole game was made almost entirely by one guy (I think) just makes it all even more incredible. Highly recommended for survival horror fans!
Senua's Saga gives new narrator for the new playthrough after finishing game and extra one for finding all secrets :)

completely finishing Goldeneye and unlocking all the cheats was the most satisfying achievement in any video game I ever played.

Strangely enough, I've had Alpha Protocol on my Steam library for many many years. Never played it until a few days ago. I've been missing out all these years lol.
The PRL412 is freaking overpowered to an extreme and I loved it! I wish it was in the remake.

First reward I thought about lol.
The real spiderman 2 post game unlocks are the golden gadgets, suit tech fusions, and the black antivenom suit. These are only available in newgame +, but requires more tokens and XP than are available in just 2 100% playthroughs, so you will have to beat the game 2.5× at least to get them. And everything except the suit tech fusions are cosmetic, but just those need part of a 3rd playthrough anyway...
Holy hell now I’m definitely playing more Alan wake, I absolutely loved control and Alan wake 2 is amazing I just haven’t finished it yet, remedy makes the best Easter eggs

Always nice to see Alpha Protocol get some attention, I really liked that game.
Becoming Starborn in Starfield has been really fun. Will have to back to see if the upcoming patch will allow me to put funky furniture in my fancy Starborn ship.
Honorable mention would be the red lightsaber in both Respawn Jedi games.
Sonic Adventure 2 was THAT game in my childhood. Unlocking green hill zone blew my mind.
the main reason in spiderman 2 why you cannot play in the action figure mode is due to the procedural generation method used to build the city blocks: if spidey is scaled down that much the new buildings and vehicles rtc all will also start to get scaled down…
It is safer to just utilize the frame buffer of the engine for amazingly fun photomode gimmicks.

The laser pistol in Silent Hill Homecoming after getting the UFO ending deserves a highlight.
I recently played through GoW Ragnarok, and annoyingly a handful of long running sidequests are not completable until the post game. One of note is the berserker graves, which gives you the best relic in the game at the end (one that actually does damage...), there is also a really good runic summon for Freya.
In Dragon Age: Inquisition, when you beat the game in any mode, you’ll unlock the Golden Nug in all future playthroughs. Being able to get tier 3 or 4 schematics for weapons and armour is a godsend when choosing to play on nightmare mode. Plus, you get mounts, potion recipes, etc; so each time you begin a new game, provided you synced your items to the Golden Nug beforehand, you will become op at the start of the game when you reach Haven.
P.S, also the chormatic greatsword is a weapon schematic found only during Trespasser. However, being able to craft it in a new game, at level three you’ll be wielding a magical sword that also makes you very op! Best 2h sword in game!
5:18 before someone decides to go that route in the game I have to warn ya. That mission with robot is fucking terrifying. I couldn't even keep my headphones on.
I remember when bonus content like this was a given in any good game back in the day, but I understand how it probably has become a lot more difficult to make.
I am so grateful that GoG brought back and even updated Alpha Protocol to play nicer with modern systems.
Cyberpunk needs a NG+. Without it, you get sick of starting over from scratch.

There Erebus gun from Cyberpunk 2077 also has this red eye that looks at you and blinks when you do certain actions. It's a real "you have to play it to understand" type of thing.

Man, I'm glad you brought up Starfield, Falcon! I know I'm probably the "odd-man-out", but I have NO INTEREST in being a Starborn no more than I have of playing NG+ to experience variable endings. I'm playing again only because of the upcoming patch, but 14d 13h 10m in (at Level 61) I've been avoiding even bothering with Constellation. Screw ALL of them!😂
i'm not sure how relevant or accurate this is, but the action figure mode could be related to a tiktok trend where people were using spider-man action figures and making edited stop motion videos. they were actually really cool and i recommended looking them up if you haven't seen them
I think The Black Records and extra scenes in Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 would be included here. The Black Records are actually more lore but the truth of it, it can be found only after completing the game once and it can be missable.

I am now wondering if I missed something in phantom liberty. I only saw an option to get the cyber deck, not a gun. Maybe I just overlooked it. I love that cyber deck though it’s stupid overpowered and can clear an entire room just using the black wall hack. I am playing a netrunner rifle build though so even if I knew about the gun option I still would’ve taken the deck haha.
