From car cleaning, to assembling our F1 car, to continuing the office build... we're having an action packed day here! We're also splitting into two - @Shmee150 and Brad are heading over to TDF with all of the freshly painted F1 parts whilst Tom spends some time with Status Detailing and Novus Workspace Solutions at @TheShmuseum.
To kick things off, we're heading straight over to Godleman's with a HUGE luton van (kindly sourced by MS-RT) ready to collect all of the components from the paint booth. With some shuffling, we manage to fit everything into the back, and get on our way to the F1 experts at TDF.,
Meanwhile, all of The Shmeemobiles are getting a thorough clean whilst Martin is cracking on with some wall construction around the halo bay/kitchenette. Before heading home, he also checks if 'Tom's Table' is worthy of being called a table...
After an almost uneventful drive, the team at TDF immediately get started on assembling the front of our FW19 whilst we begin to unwrap all of the different parts which are looking amazing.

I do feel sorry for Brad as he work around these amazing cars and never get to drive them. So I think Tim should send Brad on a track day to drive some nice cars.
Brad isnt insuranced to drive tims cars, once he is a bit older tim would surely let him drive the way he lets him use the team cars
Brad would need to bee at least 24 with 6 years driving experience for an insurance company to even consider denying it. Right now they wouldn't even pick up the phone.

How you managed to find a good craftsman and that personality together is beyond me, but you need to keep Martin working around there often.
I know you said no engine but you should hook up like a predator go-kart motor to the f1 car. Wouldn't be lightning fast or anything at that weight but I bet you could move it around at 10-15mph.

Tips to prevent the jeans from discoloring on car seats. Buy 24% vinegar and pour 3 deciliters of it into a bucket that holds at least 10 liters of water, fill the rest of the bucket with hot water. Press the jeans down into the bucket and leave the jeans in this vinegar water for 1 hour. Then wash the trousers in the washing machine, they will now not release color on either car upholstery or anything else.

Ever thought of maybe having a shelter added onto the side of the barn to act as a 'wash bay' sort of thing?
He should build out an entire car washing bay in the back barn! Get high pressure water guns hard-wired in, build in a soaps/detergent dispenser, and even add commercial air blowers for drying 🤣

13:06 my brother did something similar many years back. I doubt anyone is in the car and i also doubt it was that icy or the owner of the bimmer was doing the speed limit. Only things hurt will be the farmers mood, the front end of that bimmer, the hedge and the owners insurance premiums.

I think i might have lived nextdoor to F1 car in Aldershot as Carlin motorsport use to be on the same road that I lived on and would often see a f1 car outside their unit. One day I went to have a look at it and was told it was a show car

I remember you saying some months back how much materials prices had risen between you planning the Shmueseum build and you actually moving in and being ready to build, did prices end up coming down a bit in the interim or did you just end up biting the bullet on the higher prices to get on with the project? something cool I think to do would be to do the basic F1 Willaims Rothmans livery and then adorn the rest with sponsor stickers from companies that support Tim and The Shmuseum instead of the accurate sponsor stickers or maybe a bit of both.

A little bit of PPF around the cockpit of the F1 car would probably be a good idea to protect it from people climbing in and out of it.

For those detailing cuts, wouldn't it be more convenient to pull out all the cars that have to be cleaned in the correct order, so they can just work on the line and you can just drive the finished ones inside 1 by 1?

No sure about the halo space, it cuts the space in half, if you are in the office and want to go to the kitchen you will have to go outside then back into the kitchen, in winter it will no be very pleasant, maybe the halo space shoud've been integrated with the office space...
