Very timely comment regarding prop safety. Dan Horton just posted on VAF about a fatality. I am going to do what you suggested there and always ground with a jumper wire to ground on the p leads. Great video. Thanks for all the information you share with with the RV community.
I didn't get how to "troubleshoot" the system. We already knew it wasn't working. How did you decide which component was bad? Swapping coils would rule those out, but what pointed to the ECU instead of the pickup? What about wiring or fuses?
