Baking Soda & Vinegar let it sit all day/night. Then I put mine in the sink to soak in Boiling hot Water from the stove. Repeat the boiling water soak for several minutes Hold the flashlight in the air drop bottom side down onto a solid floor/concrete with a folded towel I did with out end cap. worked for me. good Luck

Screw a big wood screw into the batterie and pull it, you may need to find an adapter plyer and hit the tube with a piece of wood but it should come. For the last batterie use an even longer screw.

put it on the dashboard of a car and turn the defroster on until it gets real hot and then beat it on rubber floor mat they will fall right out.

I would think that it may work on some lights like it did for you and that was a great idea on your part. Sometimes they are so imbedded that is nearly impossible. I've owned a 4 cell c one since the 80s and one the 1st battery get stuck when I converted it to led and I thought that it was only a 3 cell and used it as such for years. The screw that holds the bulb fell off and I tried to remove it from the back and couldn't because the battery that was stuck so I removed it from the front not knowing that the whole thing was spring loaded and fell. Completely apart. I've tried everything to remove it, WD 40, blow gun , wacked it with a hammer along pipe and still no luck. As my final attempt I've left it filled with oil for a few days and we'll see if that will work. The only reason I've invested so much time and effort is because of its sentimental value and my hate for being defeated but I'm thinking that I'm the point of just throwing it the fn out. I may try the drilling it out like this guy did as the last resort 😂
