The Needle and the Damage Done | Neil Young | Acoustic Covers

A song near and dear to my heart growing up, my uncle who plays guitar would always cover a plethora of Neil Young songs at family gatherings and picnics including this one. Even though it's a sad song lyrically, this song takes me back to a fun nostalgic place, and I have been wanting to learn the little riff part in this for a long while. Neil Young influenced and continues to influence countless other musicians and artists to this day. "The Needle and the Damage Done" is about the darker side of fame and being a rockstar, a song about how even the greatest artists and people can fall victim to drug addiction.
