Neil's shorter solo acoustic versions of this are beautiful but I also love the long winding jam of the original Crazy Horse version so I sought that approach instead. I'm not sure if he ever tried it this way solo. Like many of the classic and iconic songs from his early career, it's the simplicity and raw nature of his style that I love. My goal was to maintain the long solos without overplaying and getting away from the spirit. Some might say I failed and thats cool, I get it. To those of you who watched to the end and came all the way down the river with me, I appreciate it!

Holey Moley! Best rendition yet. Grabbed so many influences in this rendition and your arrangement was spot on. This was incredible. Thanks for posting, inspirational to me as it is the first song I ever learned and I always play it when I pick up one of my guitars. That soloing in the middle really lends clarity to what Neil is actually trying to accomplish with his Gibson (Old Black) I see you play that Stonebridge all the time during your live feeds. I recently bought a Furch Red Pure DSR (beautiful) and I have the 15 series Martin Streetmaster. I am just learning.
