I understood that in the whirlwind of adult life, we can forget who we are, and then, a necessary trigger switches you on, and you remember who you are and who you were. You start reclaiming that part of yourself, but everyone has their own story of the 'true self.' And even if we are adults, if we want to fight, if we didn’t form our 'true self' when we were teenagers, then we will do it in our independent life. And if we find our 'true self' and then lose it again, we will have to find it once more.
I'm not that old I'm just 18 but I'm definitely transitioning into adulthood already. I'm in my late teenage years and I really don't wanna age I realized being 18 is so good you can work, vote etc like an adult but you're still young and strong. I understood that in the whirlwind of adult life, we can forget who we are, and then, a necessary trigger switches you on, and you remember who you are and who you were. You start reclaiming that part of yourself, but everyone has their own story of the 'true self.' And even if we are adults, if we want to fight, if we didn’t form our 'true self' when we were teenagers, then we will do it in our independent life. And if we find our 'true self' and then lose it again, we will have to find it once more.
I'm not that old I'm just 18 but I'm definitely transitioning into adulthood already. I'm in my late teenage years and I really don't wanna age I realized being 18 is so good you can work, vote etc like an adult but you're still young and strong. I will miss being 18 cuz I'm turning 19 soon on September 5th, And just like you said "we are trying to find ourselves" And I really need to do that cuz we I was younger(14-16), I was a very loving and kind person but life changed me and I wanna get in touch with that old me and I pray to God he helps me be that pure and selfless person I used to be but it's so hard as I get older since more responsibilities are put on me and it's more stress and I have to actually go out to work everyday and deal with people it's so scary that I will have to do this for a very long time now it's like my soul is being sucked away with this job I have right now😢

This song seems like its him being overwhelmed by fame and stardom and he got to a breaking point and needed to get away. Needed to get away to the country, chill, drink, smoke a little, and clear his head with some friends. Can tell by the lyrics he has been through some things but now, he is in a good headspace and is back. I love it.
