Do what you love, Love what you do and you will never "work" a day in your life. Thanks for having us along on another great adventure!
Righton!
It's just nuts how much parts identification knowledge is in your head. I feel like Duff on these videos, you drag me over to look at something and I nod along. Literally the only thing I knew about was the difference between the Muncie and the Saginaw from my oval track days. Still fun to watch, and I say build a sedan because you've got a bunch of truck projects in the works right now.
Mortzke, puddin, slick, and halhass customs would be a pinnacle CZcams hotrod build team. Awesome channel. I love it all.
Hate to see that Brent lost his shop to fire .
@@waynedavis7245 yep, bloody shame. build it better I hope. Send all the automotive CZcamsrs up there to help out and to get one of his projects back up to speed. Mortzke on an engine. pudddin crackn jokes and other lads helping out. would be a massive video.
Don't forget Wes
Pile on and get Sleeperdude to do the paint with slick. Make it a one day build by throwing piles of channels at it.
@@john-j-butler that would be a great video for sure .
Always great to see goodies at an auction! Thank you for taking us along! 😁👍
Our pleasure!
@@moremortskerepair4354 that 59 eldo Seville
34 Ford pick up project is the ticket! Thanks for your dollars being spent in Wisconsin.
I do what I can to support the local economy!
Yeah that auction was about 90 miles northwest of my shop. Mine's NOT called Halfass, Mine's "Broke-Ass aka "AL-Kustoms" 🤣
Building a pickup out of that chassis would be AMAZING!
Would love to see a traditional build.
Wow, some of those old girls are SPENDY!! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the chassis, and as always, thanks for taking along for the journey.
Nothin cheap anymore
That’s some good funk you’re playing
glad you enjoyed it!
I Love the Old Junk & am Living Vicariously through You so The More the Merrier. Rub Duff behind the Ear For Me, would you Please? I’ll Catch You on the next one. Keep it Safe Out There Sir
Duff is like........YEAHHHHHH DROPPED SPINDLES!!!!!!!!!
Your knowledge is impressive
Worthless knowledge!
My parents had that exact same 1958 Impala Convertible in Florida in 1959. Cay Coral exterior with coral interior!!!!!
Nice Collection of good’s Mortske
Wow. You walked past all that flexi hose and didn't even drop some charcoal starter and a match on them. Serenity now.
Thinking coupe body 💯👍 and love see and hear nail head fire up .🎉
Thanks for the ride
BTW cool view seeing the chassis being trailered behind as you drive home. Thanks for the road trip Mortske. WI is beautiful. Moved from there to here. Keep on keeping it real. 🤙🏻
Some killer finds man! Thanks for taking us along with ya
My buddy and I were there just as you were about to leave. We figured out it was you when we left to go to the other property and pick up a rear-end. We also got a 50 Merc dash and those chrome steelies with the port o walls. Definitely was a good auction.
Awesome!
Wow did not realize we are your old steel dealers for your addiction lol happy to support it as it feeds our own
Much appreciated
Hello Mortske and Duff Dog
Hi Luv. MamaCard finally here. Old lady always playing catch up.
Great finds! You are in heaven!
Duff is bord!
That was a lot of really good stuff on auction. Any 57 and 58 Plymouth will now go for lot of money. Talk about people being poor, not so much when it comes to Plymouth,Cadillac and 57,58,59 chevys. With these old custom cars you really can see amazing things of redneck engineering at times.
Thanks for another cool video! Shout out to the editing department...peace 🐾🍺
You should have bought those flexy hoses, you know how much you love them. LOL.
Makes me glad two of my cousins own junkyards in NC.
I think a pickup cab with wood stake bed would be pretty cool.
Mr Mortske, you gather this info, because you care about the story telling and the history more than the actual car. Thank You , you are a good egg.
Glad you enjoy it
If you ever need free labor I'd be more that happy to come up for a couple days and help out on a project! 😁🤙
Welcome to Wisconsin! Yeah, I saw this auction. Lots 'o stuff.
Amazing how much you can remember about that old stuff. Crazy how that stuff is still out there! Thanks for sharing!
Got some nice goodies. What a collection
Welcome back to WI. Get ya some curds 😂😂🐀🐀🐀🐀 Great tour- Thanks Thomas!
That 59 Caddy 4 door with the bent roof would be good for DD to turn into a 2 door convertible. It went for one tenth of the real thing.
Enjoyed the video Mortske!
I am friends with Mike werth the son.. He kept a 64 impala drop top ss auto car.. legit just got home from getting it running since 05.. I bought the 70 monte carlo off Mike that was Jim's daily driver.. thought about making a CZcams video with the car and talking some about its history.. cool to see this as I watched you before the auction here and there on the weekends..
Thanks for sharing!
Good job guys. Again nice edit Chin.
So much knowledge! Thanks
Awesome auction some of them were through the roof 😮😮
That Merc has got HalfAss Kustoms written all over it...
I know right? Thought that was well . Would be so cool to see Mortske and Brent
Can't wait to see you play with the Nailhead
That was quite a collection. They do post the selling prices on past auctions. It usually takes a day or two for them to show up. Hope you picked up some spotted cow beer while you were in Scony. They don't ship it out of the state.
Drag it all home 👍👌💯🇺🇸🍺
Even though it was a hike to get it, that's a nice upgrade for the Some Day Model A...
Fantastic , more Mortske. Great to see stuff at the action.
Lotta good stuff if you are looking for parts. I say an original 34 coupe build but that’s because I have a restored all original one, flathead V-8. One car I acquired all done so I don’t have any extra parts. But you do what you like with your project. You made some good finds for sure. Worth the trip in my motorhead opinion!
Super cool. Glad everything is going great. Keep up the good work
I used to live in that area, just a little south on Hwy. 12. I lived in Baraboo and about 12 miles further south, I worked in Prairie Du Sac and lived in Sauk city. Right on the Wisconsin river. It was a very nice place to live.
Very nice area!
Some folks just have a natural talent for finding things that work. The owner of the collection was one. Glad you found some useful parts. Shockin' prices these days. Cheers.
As a wisconsinite your always welcomed keep up the great content
That white Impala.. would have loved that.
... you are living the life sir, and made me chuckle out loud, I sincerely thankyou for that - this is top entertainment and informative content - what about a tipping flat bed using your pick up cab, one of the old screw jack types with the crank handle would be cool ?
Great score ! Whatever you decide to do would be cool .
I had a 401 in a 65 Wild cat. Could not imagine having that much torque in a light rig like that.
Should be fun
Hey Mortske👋. It looked like a good online auction . Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend ✌🏻
same to you!
Awesome channel this video
great video mortske you got some awesome parts will keep you goingyour talent top notch keep them coming
Yes now you can own one to! For 19.95 or two for 30 dollars! Lots of parts! Build a super race mobile hot rod! And keep on trucking!
Wow, that guy had all the 58 chevys
You brought home some real goodies there.
Kool stuff
Hey Mortske, Nice haul No Y blocks, what a pity. Gord,
Awesome content
Model a build with chop top
A lot of nice stuff on some of the skids , you di well on your purchases and now have future projects to look forward to plus you got a couple of days out for good behavior . Keep up the good work , see you on your next video . Stuart in Ontario.................
Cool trip, and video! I worked in Reedsburg in my younger years, it brought back many good memories! Plus you scored, some great items!
Good Stuff Mortske Thanks for the video
Hell yeah my brother
pHey Mortske: Good haul of parts you've collected from the auction... Make some good projects our of all of that... Duff seems to approve of the haul too... From the home of PB Blaster and Permatex... Cleveland, Ohio... (Get yourself some sammitches for your efforts)
Great video. I live about 2 hours east of Reedsburg and we are pretty flat right along lake Michigan. I am glad you had a good time in the badger state. See you at Iola hopefully!
If you get Puddin', Slick, Halfass, maybe DD since he's close, you'll need to put up some bleachers and sell tickets!!! Heck, I'd wonder up from the "Cities" to watch!!!
Mortske, w motors! For your Impalas.
Some great finds on that auction. Appreciate you hauling us all along!
Thanks for taking us along, glad to see you got it all home safe. Now, what to do with all the stuff! Looking forward to seeing that old V-8 crank over and bark!
Thanks for showing the auction. Those cars brought crazy numbers.
Nice auction trip ! Thanks for sharing the trip and the knowledge ! Take care Duff and Sir !
Fun vid. Saw this auction on Iowa Classic channel. Did you run into that guy? He's always talking about you on his channel. He said many of the cars went for "crazy money" at the end, but he didn't have any amounts. After watching your vid, IMO - crazy money.
Excellent....Pickup project would be fun...
your laundry line of grills is really neat
Thanks!
Build an old school hotrod works for me here in the uk lol
Looks like Halfass is gonna be a little busy😣
but he sure could use a break from that nightmare..
Personally I like the 58 better than the other beloved 50s chevies thanks John from Arizona
Would love to see a build! Hot rod pickups are kool! Lets get it done!
Sounds good!
Build a pickup!!
You rock !
Pick up would be my vote. But first and first and foremost, have fun.
Definitely build a pickup!
Nice!!🎉
Good show like auctions to I've had sagonof Tracy's Muncie a up to a rock crusher! 😊
Yee Yee! & Woo Woo! 🤘🤠🤘
Wouldn't mind having that Mopar 4 speed for my 58 Plymouth
I vote for the pick up build…Btw, I believe Halfass has some LaSalle stuff, should have survived the fire..
I’ll ask Brent next time I talk to him
Good score at the auction! To bad the Duff Dog couldn’t go
Nice stuff 👍😊
Would like to see an episode where you fire up that nail head👍🏆
Stay tuned
Half ass customs would fix the roof on the chopped Merc in a couple of days!
I love the mercury!😊
Good stuff !
