What the hell are people thinking just rolling up to someones property without permission ? I swear this world is just getting dumber and dumber by the minute. Great vids my man keep up the good work !!
Tell me about it
Next one that does that, make ‘em shovel snow.
@@1954shadow I like to shovel--I'll be right over!😆
VGG had that happen a couple times at the "new" place in TN
@@1954shadow lol
You're a good man for shoveling dad's roof. My mom would say "you earned a lot of points in heaven (pause...) but they're easy to lose !."
Thanks for this personal look at you !
Really appreciate you...and Duff !
I'm gonna need all the points I can get!
@@moremortskerepair4354 here's an idea!!!
Why don't you get a bucket truck take the bucket off and rig a removable roof rake attachment ?
All you would have to do is fab a long control box!
All I want is 5% of the gross the 60 coupe DeVille

Watching Mortske assemble a Rigid shop vac - - priceless.
not my strong suit!
Happiness is a rigid tool ,
Thanks for checking up on lawnmower man, hope he is well. I watched this entire video of snow removal wondering why I was so entertained, then at the very end I saw the reason, that is one sweet looking 49 Chevy pickup truck! Please do an entire video on it. You ,Mojo and Duff are simply awesome.
Bring the Champion spark plug fender cover back to the new shop! Awesome that you help your dad out. Day in the life of Mortske is great!
It's so brittle!
Duff living his best life while you're busting your ass shoveling 😂
🐕🐕🐕🐕😂😂😂😂😂
what he lives for!
16:56 Do you even have trees?
Oh wait, you're younger than me.
Bro, do you even tree? LOL🌵
We live near Vancouver mowing the lawn and watching our flowers grow
Haven't seen any snow for over a month
“ahh…I’m going to jail.”
Fell out of the chair!
A great fun ride all the way today.
If he had thumbs sitting next to you, Duff looks like he could be holding a pipe and wearing a smoking jacket.
Thank you Mortske. Love The Duff!
The wife says you need a new Tshirt: Have a pic of the shop vac with the saying "It sucks, but not in a good way"
Not a bad idea!
😂
I don't blame you bud, EFF a bunch of snow, it was alright when I was younger but now that I'm a old man, EFF IT!! I'm in Central KY, and we've had our share of surprise snowstorms over the years, even had quite a few of those "Thunder" snow or whatever they call, with the thunder and lightning and snowing to beat hell, geez. Nope, EFF it!!
From a former redi-mix driver: Cement is an ingredient in concrete, like flour in a cake. Mud is the stuff in your driveway puddles. The more you know!
Thanks for the info!
I can't be the only man wondering what you hide in the green building. 😮. Also, I love it when the ladies ask me to make it quick 🎉.
haha
them ladies must praise you for taking your time.
We still get freezing weather, and we run water from the hose over a tree limb so our pipes don’t freeze and get icicles that way. But at least we don’t get snow!
With gutters and down spouts on your shop roof ,1/2 inch of rain would collect 250 gallons of water to your storge tank. You could still buy it off the fire dept in the winter if you run out. Some clever plumbing gets you free water every time it rains. Your channel is entertaining no matter what you are doing. You and Duff keep up the good work.
Collecting rain water is not legal everywhere. Make sure to check with local authorities before setting up a cistern and catch basins.
I've had the 16 gallon Rigid since 2001. I am on hose kit #3. One of my best purchases.
Nice!
Who makes the Super Scraper of snow shovels? That's what we need to find out. 🤔
Thanks for the extra content! 👍🏼💯
Agreed!
Down here in East Alabama, we're already in the high 70s during the day... I'm in shorts having to do yard work! We get some snow about every 7 years, and about every 30-40 years we'll get enough to stick for a couple of days! The main issue is that most of the people on the road can't drive when the conditions get wet and slick, so the wrecker folks get some overtime, and the body shops are jammed up. Love the channel, and love the Duff!
My grandpa heated and powered the shop the same way. Had a huge container. He was lucky enough to have the transfer station in the county that took peoples old oil. They just let him pump it out of barrels for free.
I’d suggest the paper bags for the shop vac. The filters work well, but sometimes the higher HP machines will push the finer dust through to the exhaust. The moral of the story is you may end up breathing more mouse poop than you want. Peace.
Thanks for the top!
@@moremortskerepair4354 I do the same Sir ! Great tip !
Pro-tip put a panty hose over the filter...
Back in the day did you ever get an old car hood and use it for a giant sled with a group of your friends.
great times!
.....Sort of.....used the truck lid off of my '57 Chevy. Chained it to the back of my friends' '72 Chevelle and went around the neighborhood......
wasn't really that much fun - - and it ruined the trunk lid to my car........
@@urbanurchin5930 we used coal mine converey belt to chain to the back of a 4eheel drive truck works better than a trunk lid Lol
Have a RIDGID vacuum for like 20 years and it still sucking well!! Although the wheels fell off I just drag it around
Shoot
I got an 8 gal. Out of the garbage the rocker switch was gone . I bought a new switch and filter cleaned ,and sanitized it. It was a stainless roller cart with a handle.
Awesome
Get a Snow Joe, works great on a roof.
What's that?
Corded and battery models to choose
I have corded and have used on my roof.
When I lived in LA I used to put cameras on Movie Stars homes due to people thinking it is ok to walk around their homes or even steal something. You can tell where the Movie stars live because those are the homes with the address removed and the cameras installed. The first u tube show I watched was Cole the Corn Star and the same thing happened to him. I am glad the Police and Courts supported you.
Hey Mortske: Nice to see you helping your Dad clearing snow from off of his roof; also good to see you comparing shopvacs....Winter should be over soon and with it, more adventures with the Duffalumpagus which is good enough for the girls we go out with... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone spray... Cleveland, Ohio (Hope your parents get you some sammitches!!!)
Keep the video's going I enjoy ur silliness and all the vehicle's u work on I broke my spine 18 years ago so I was forced to retire early witch sucks but I enjoy the videos u make thanks again for all ur videos

Fun video. Kudos for helping with Dads roof.
Friday evening with Mortske and Duff, 👍👍👍 great way to start the weekend. Be good and stay safe.
You got that right!
Mort a bunch of stuff thrown together as in a day in the life of mort and Duff is great it's way better than listening to an engine crank over that's never going to start. Getting a view of what your day is like is way better thank you.
So much snow
And I just cleaned my pool and now relaxing in my shorts watching Mortske
sounds horrendous
It's only 81 here in Florida... Cold snap
Great videos love wall art can't wait damb lot of snow get electric snow shovel stay safe
Looks like you folks had a real good old fashioned genuine North Dakota winter this year! No wonder nobody lives there! They gotta go to South Dakota to thaw out!
Good stuff Mr. Mortske! Finally got to see at least part of your "stash" at the OG shop. Hope the storm wasn't too bad.
All good
Another classic, thanks. As for the ingrates that show up ,we have a saying "you can't educate pork"
Great content, as always Morske…..
Great job helping the parents shovel snow, us old guys don’t get up on roofs anymore. Looks like Duff is having one hell of a blast.
And the concrete thing, my friend always used to argue with me, I would say hey, the cement, looks good, and
he would say, it’s concrete ,cement is an ingredient in concrete
😂😂😂 great job on the second channel. Keep them coming. Carry on.
Will do
I will add my support for adding a cyclone adapter to the shop vac. I built a support cabinet that stacked the cyclone over the top of the Craftsman 6.5 hp shop vac. After several years the filter in the shop vac is still clean and unrestricted. That is worth the time & money for the cyclone. By stacking them the floor space is minimal & it all is stable and rolls easily on casters.
You're a busy guy! Thanks for taking the time to video your daily exploits. Catch you on the next one!
Any time!
Flint the water is drinkable and the winter is done, loved the episode and the 50 degree day today , snow has been gone for a month
Is it really? Did you test it yourself? Please tell me you did...the government will lie every f'n time...
Fantastic video as usual sir. Thank you. If you get a scissor lift I would throw a snowblower on it and bring it on the roof. Lol. Hope you made it threw the storm good sir.❤
The big storm brought me about 2 inches of snow. I'm thinking you probably got a lot more. Some day we will get summer. Sucks when all the stores are closing early because of no workers. Thanks for the video 👍
I always head people say to put the air compressor outside in its own shed to keep the noise down. The guy that services the continuous run compressor at work, says it helps a bunch to just vent the intake of the compressor outside. I’ve just got a little 60gallon stand up Campbell Hausfield. I want to try it sometime
Stainless shop vac story-
My Harley engine builder is a complete neat freak. Like my friend is banned from entering his shop because he tracked mud in once. He likes his stuff to be dentist office clean. But I walked into his shop one day, and he had his stainless shop vac sitting on his work bench and he’s going to town on the thing with a buffer polishing it up. He’s an amazing older dude with encyclopedic knowledge of anything vintage Harley, but he’s a tad bit eccentric.
That would be the guy who needs to own one!
Appreciate you having us along, it’s always a good time.I’ll catch you on the next one, Keep it Safe Out There Sir
You bet
Hey Mort. We put a toilet tank fill valve inside our 2500 tank. The type with the big floaty ball and rod. Just put a ball valve up stream and shut it off at night.accually granger has the kits.
I haven’t shoveled as much snow off my whole driveway this winter as you just did at your dad’s house.
My dog Beau loves to ride too.I take him just about everywhere I go.
Wow we got nothing for winter but you all got our 2015 winter.......God that was endless so I know how you feel....and nowhere to put the snow!!!!!!
I am so glad we do not get much snow here in east tn. it has been between 70-80 degrees here
Always enjoy your videos sir. Have been a dedicated viewer for a while now
I appreciate that!
Happy Belated Birthday Mort! Happy Friday! Grabbing myself a shirt this weekend. Cant wait for Monday’s video!
Thanks!
Hello Mortske & Duff: Snow Mountain from the Back Side. I might have to revise my touchdown guess. All that snow and an empty water tank, gave me some trickel pump melting ideas. Time to do a will it run on a old grain truck or maybe another camper bolt on a 1000 Gal. Tank and volia a 1 trip water hauller. Keep the treat videos coming. PS the pole roof scrapers work great on roofs pitched too steep to stand on, ask me how I know (LOL).
Neat stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Looks like a sweet top secret project. I worked a couple years at a company that built and refurbished the totes. We also recycled them. It was a large warehouse in Cannon falls, Minnesota.
Interesting
I definitely enjoy a day in the life with mortske videos
Bought my dad a craftsman shop vac back in 07. I got it for 25 at a auction was only used 3 times. I was the only one to bid on it. It was a 16 gallon, 6.75 horsepower and dad had it about 20 years. I got it for dad's birthday that year.
Thanks for the ride and chat! Pizza-flavored Combos and a Mt. Dew are my road trip go-to's. I thought folks up there respected private property - dopes! Stay warm, cheers!!!
Good-day Lord good day sir Mort ski hope all is well great video as always give Duff some love and pets ps he will always be the cutest puppy on CZcams
Really enjoyed the content. Great way to spend an hour 🎉😂. Can't believe the amount of snow you guys have there. I'm all in for mid April, let's say April 15th for it to melt at your house.😊.
Glad you enjoyed
Westlake Amazon specials are the tires I threw on my project truck. Less than $500 for five tires, not including tax, is a deal for a vehicle that never fails to fail.
50 plus years shoveling roofs and snow removal all the way north in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan they call us Yoopers and I have to tell you. You are working to hard. Need to get yourself a Yooper scoop and start on the edges of a roof. Will make your life much easier. Promise! Lol Love your videos and keep up the good work. Thanks
Interesting! Duff looks like he enjoys life until he doesn't get his way!
Happy Easter!
Same to you!
I have the stainless steel Ridgid and the first time I emptied the drum I noticed a rust spot from some wet-ish stuff or crap I sucked up. That spot was a small hole the second time I emptied it... So I patched it. Go with the plastic, that stuff lasts forever in the ocean- perfect for a wet dry vac
You made me get out of bed and get a snack when you went to the store to get treats. And I was so nice and comfortable.
my bad
I'm having my second heart attack watching you shovel! Good reason for 12-12 pitch roof! Great content-keep up the good work, dedicated subscriber!
For the shop vac, consider a 25ft or longer hose. Had one at a previous job for cleaning out buses. Really helpful.
Great idea
We had our shop on our property where we lived and People used to come to our house and just walk right in our house! It was an everyday occurrence! I finally put a sign up saying this is our home, please do not just walk in! People are crazy! 😅
Yeah, the joys of living next door!
The guy that lives across the street from me is a riding lawn mower / garden tractor hoarder. Every weekend, he goes to estate sales and buys mowers - he must have
about 50+ in his yard. He was having the same problem, with people just showing up and walking around his yard. He eventually put up some of that plastic snow
fence ( not really very effective ) and a bunch of signs telling people to KEEP OUT ! Well, the place "does" kind of look like a mower repair place.
Chopping the roof on the dually 3 inches would look wicked!!!
you guys make that look so easy even though I know it's hard work
Great way to introduce a secret project. I seent it at the end and said mother "lover". Pretty good ol son. I like it.
Thank you!
Found your main channel about a month ago and I’ve been binge watching. Love the content and your style. I’d definitely have a “sammich” with ya ! Thanks for the content. Good choice on the Rigid. I’ve always had bad luck with shop vacs and I’ve had my rigid going on 5 years now.
Glad you like them!
I’m still watching because I like to hear your stories and comments Mortske and Duff! lol 😂 😂😂 Samich time brother! lol 😂 😂
I appreciate that
I've had my 8 gallon "Shop Vac" (I fhink I got it at Walmart about 20-25 years ago. Has never had an issue. Uses sponge filters, bags or disc filters.
When’s the spring thaw Mortske? I am a little jealous. The snow looks so pretty. I always wondered what a white Easter would be like. Thank you for the Greta content. I’m a big fan.😂

Excellent loved every minute of it I don`t work Sundays yes you do you`re doing a youTube
An easy way to see how much water you have in your tank is to install a 90 degree elbow at the top and bottom of the tank and run a piece of clear tubing between them. You can look at the hose and see the water level.
I'm scared of drilling those holes in my tank that doesn't leak!
concrete is a recipe of Sand, stone and cement activated with water. Cement is made of pulverized limestone and baked at high temperature.
