    I mean, both Paul and Ricky get pretty expressive with their frustrations when they are shooting under 1040 rated rounds. 🤣 I didn't really find any of their frustrations all that hard to watch.
    That being said, Calvin Heimburg is about the coolest I've seen when things don't go well for him in a round. 😁

    Brady Och is from Minnesota. At the tender age of 5 he once beat Paul Bunyan in a tree chopping contest. Instead of using an axe like everyone else he used an Innova Birdee. All it took was one throw.

    I hope DeLa stays on the NT list forever. This style of golf is unique and requires players to execute shots that they don't have to do very often on the rest of the Elite Series courses. It helps to give the NT series a more well-rounded feel than if it weren't included. Great job Santa Cruz!

    I don't know why it popped in my head, but the disc company should have an "every man" category for sponsorships.
    There's quite a few guys like Andrew fish and other great players that work full-time and play when they can.
    Make them more relatable to guys like me and give them a shot at the big time

      I've gotten the chance to play with quite a few pros over the last couple of weeks and I'd say the three on this card were among the most professional in demeanor. I have no issue with a snap reaction like Paul had a couple times as long as he doesn't bring negative energy back to the group (which he certainly didn't).

    Knee slaps are part of playing good and being competitive. And if you watched the same thing I did paul didnt throw his mini it was dropped. But hes frustrated like we all got when were having kinda rough rounds!

    It seems like nobody in this comment section know that AJ Risley is an extremely successful touring pro in the past and has shot plenty of 1040 rounds in his life. Not to mention that he and Paul have known each other for yeeeaars and are friends. He can speak on Paul's outbursts if he wants...

      Not only that, but he is known for being hilariously awkward and funny on the mic. Yes he was serious about the Paul situation, but all the other comments he made where you guys said were cringe is just his natural sarcasm. Know one here can sense that. I hope Gatekeeper keeps bringing back AJ for commentary, he's been a legend in the mic for years now.

    A little constructive criticism for Brian. I like the commentating but your voice gets so loud when a nice play happens. I am not saying don't celebrate or congratulate the player but remember you are talking into a microphone that amplifies your voice.
    AJ- I don't mind your frustration but it was wrong. Paul clearly dropped his mini, be didn't throw it. Remember, for someone reading about enlightenment from your IG post I would think talking about others is not something you would do.

    This is a Professional sport... people get frustrated. Yes, it is hard to watch someone when they are having a meltdown, but he expects a lot more from his play...

    I think we need to clarify some things here:
    Is it a problem if players show emotions during the round? No.
    Was AJs comment about the "bad attitude" of Paul unnecessary? Yes.
    Is this a reason to doubt AJs ability to commentate a discgolf video? No.
    Is Paul McBeth a god who can only be criticized by people with at least as much world titles as he got? Would be pretty awful.

    Commentary should add value. Expressing your own like or dislike of how a player is acting during his round is not adding value. If I am wavering between whether or not to mute the commentary, and simply watch the coverage, you aren't doing your job.

    I agree with AJ. When Paul is not playing well, he is not fun to watch. He’s a pro. All the respect for his accomplishments. He can do what he likes. It’s just my personal feeling.

      I agree, Both Paul and Ricky can be bad to watch. Competition can be tough, but I feel that it shows as a bad example to new players and professionals. I wish the coverages would start to cut some of these bad reactions.

      He slapped his knee in frustration after a missed putt. You'll be challenged not to find this in any disc golf round video with any players. There's probably footage of AJ doing it. I think the sad part of the commentary is he went off after Paul accidentally dropped his mini and that's what AJ was focused on. Also, AJ's commentary is just as bad as his disc golf skills compared to these top players and he's a liability to this channel.

    I agree with AJ, I believe that it is good to show the top players as human. However, I feel that it shows an example to players that having a bad attitude is okay. Did not "throw" his mini, but he normally places like most players. When the pros have the bad sorted l attitudes I see it quite often and is uncalled for.

    Do you think Paul cares what someone says on commentary? Take a lesson from your hero and keep it to yourself.
    How many worlds do *you* have, random CZcams commenters? Do you see why that's not a good reason to say someone can't share their feelings when they're on commentary, which is literally half the job description?
    Just keep your ugliness to yourself, that's all I'm asking. There are much more constructive ways to share your opinions than just ruthlessly shitting on AJ.
