I want to see more of him! His concentration and approach to holes were something that I have not seen before. I was cheering for him after that first Hiyah
I love watching Paul making 60 foot putts. It reminds me of when I was a kid watching Roger Federer in his prime and anytime he was in trouble on a serve game I knew he would hit an ace next and he did. It's the same when I'm watching Steph Curry shoot from half court or watching Tom Brady when he's down by 25 points in the super bowl. You just know that it's gonna happen with such certainty even though it's not rational to expect it. Only the most elite competitors have this quality and that's what I feel when Paul is in the zone.
Imagine saying how embarrassing overhand shots are in your practice round videos, and then having to commentate a player that throws thumbers and tomahawks for an entire round. 🤦🏻♂️🤣
I love the trio commentary. I was iffy right away, but they have done so well this season. Shout out to Jomez, just such solid content you're bringing up, I can't wait to watch for years to come.
Totally agree with Nate. Disc golf is competitive, yes: but like that “other” golf, it’s a gentleman’s sport. Etiquette and sportsmanship should be and ARE a big part of the game, especially in this day and age. If I hated the guys I played with casually I wouldn’t have any any friends to play with at all. At the end of the day, golf is a game of discipline against yourself.
@@kyleweir689 Brookman won at life this weekend. Appeared on Jomez Pro, played on lead card with McBeth, Gurthie, & Wysocki, and threw a better round than Gurthie.
Genuinely thankful for the dedication of the Jomez team and providing us all with not only the best full coverage around, but also how timely they are for these rounds. Amazing💯
Jomez you guys are amazing. Really the whole team is spectacular! Thanks for all you do to bring all of us junkies our pro disc fix. Goodness knows we can’t make it to all the games. I have a small request though! For all these baskets with huge cliffs and craziness behind the basket can we get the drone to fly past the basket (perhaps keeping the basket in view) so we can see exactly what the terror is that defines the backside of some of these baskets? It would add tremendously to the watch value of unfamiliar (to the viewer) courses. I would definitely bite my nails more SEEING the consequences of throwing to far on some of these holes. I think we all know what it’s like to add a hike to your day due to an errant shot. I love you guys, keep up the excellent commentary. Love it when a pun runs the course of a few holes, lol lettuce not forget to ketchup on burger puns says-a-me. Thanks again 🙏🤗🥰
Man I feel bad for Sean on some of those putts. I definitely feel that pain. Still very impressive playing with those guys plus jomez is a ton of pressure. You kicked ass man.
What I don't understand is, with a short field of 76 golfers, why aren't they spreading the tee times to make for less delay. Why not have tee times between 8AM-1PM instead of 10-1, and space them out?
@@hightenor123 I don't think it was a stupid question at all. I have often wondered about those kind of things before myself. It wasn't until I started playing in events that I fully understood the logistics of a disc golf tournament.
Thank you jomez team for my favorite tournament by my favorite production team and my favorite player in the game. Rick for worlds 2021 I can't wait for my new 3time destroyer
Of course Ricky and Paul care about each others gameplay.... They're professionals and even if they're trying to win, one of the best parts of disc golf in my opinion is seeing some do really good. Even if I'm losing, I don't want to see someone get unfortunate kicks or throws. These guys are the best players in the world, sure they're competitive but that doesn't mean they hate each other. Keep up the awesome work guys
What's up with waits at NT events like this? I would assume there are staggered tee times, spotters to find discs, and coordinators to usher people in the right direction... are there not?
I think you should have interviewed Sean so we would get more info on this guy. Would have loved to hear his thoughts on playing with 3 pros. Such an entertaining player with totally unique style.
Is it really true that DeLa won't be on the tour next year? If so that makes no sense. If a course is full of variety, getting the pros to invent shots, getting them challenged over super difficult situations, that's not the course you get rid of! I hope the pros are able to come back next year to it
follow up, i just saw Hannah McBeths ig posts on some of the issues with DeLa, and she makes very good points (bathrooms, crossing holes, locals vs pros in terms of access). but everything she mentioned seems like it can be solved and still keep a real NorCal style challenge that the pros should be facing, interrupting the excess of ball golf and polished wooded courses
If Sean Brookman develops a good backhand then he would be seriously dangerous competition. I don’t even understand how you can be on a card with these guys and not have a backhand.. lol awesome!
Dang, this course is nuts. Not a single star frame. Granted, I'm pretty new to all this, but I've watched a lot of tournaments in my short time and I don't think I've ever seen a star frame-less round

Watching Sean on this card has taught me one super important lesson...... play YOUR game. That was impressive!
No joke man can play
I want to see more of him! His concentration and approach to holes were something that I have not seen before. I was cheering for him after that first Hiyah
Loved watching him throw all those tomahawks, don't see a lot of other pros use it much, but hey, do what works for you.
Excuse me but are you saying that everytime you go to frisbee golf, you dont play your own game?? If thats so, maybe you should quit
On behalf of all Joshs I’d like to say thank you Jerm.
I second this.
I’m proud to be a Josh👌🏼 and I also third it lol😂
Wait a second...I’m the Josh sitting at home too!

Finally solved it: Sean is really a professional dart player. It makes so much sense the way he throws the disc.
I love watching Paul making 60 foot putts. Sean Brookman is a strange thrower, but damn he's fun to watch.

So much more interesting to watch a course like this then a wide open golf course with 1200 foot holes.
Agree, love the creativity and touch.
I like Brookman. He's one of those unique players that surprises you. Hope to see him in more main cards.

This is a real DG course - Tired of ball golf courses with arbitrary OB.
agreed. Bowling Green Open needs to be an A tier again.
Yeah, I’ll take a woodsy course over a wide open one any day, as both a player and spectator.
Nothing like total luck 2 meter rule handing out OB strokes at random.
At least Arbitrary OB is consistent across all the players.
It's funny how I haven't heard any pro say anything good about tree o.b.
@@johnevans4890 yeah, they don’t wanna learn to throw with extreme finesse, they just wanna show off how far they can throw in the open

great job representing us weekend warriors sean. keep grinding. great round.
good coverage. I still go back and watch the 2019 coverage when it was pouring rain. definitely one of my favorite events.
Give Brookman a backhand and he's top 10 this tourny, change my mind.
Give brookman a back hand and he gets worse at forehand bc he’s busy practicing a third style of throw
Maybe... with a more confident putting stroke
Fi-Yu-Si-Ion him with a world putting championship dude who's never made lead card and he might win this tournament. His approaches were all good.

At courses where roll aways and 2m and thick brush to lose discs in... Backups happen often. And the walks from hole to hole are likely short
