Brian Earhart and his analysis is exactly what the Disc Gold Network needs if they want live coverage to go to the next level. Love his commentary.
Earhart has that "Sandlot" announcer vibe, hope he goes along way in commentary.
I agree, it feels like I'm there with him on the course when I watch his commentary. I think he can turn a boring round into an interesting watch with his knowledge on the game.
This was a great round for commentary! Brian is super professional as always. I love AJs sense of humor. We need more fun in our lives and Aj brings it. 😁

The "tubes" on hole 1 are to help with erosion by slowing down running water as it goes down the hill.

There's straw in the plastic tubes on the hillside is called waddle. It is used for erosion control. It's mandatory on most job sites in construction in California or similar product.
Those hay barriers on 1 are very common to battle erosion. They sell them at all hardware stores

@@Fuhgit-lu4tj yep designed to slowly let water thru but prevent sediment from flowing thru. Usually filled with wood chips or something similar

We have those straw tubes in our course for erosion prevention. We refer to the as "Pythons" just fyi ;)
Anyone know if there is a time limit on the 2 meter rule? what happens if you are about to throw from your mark and the disc drops to the ground? What about if it gets dislodged by someone before the card gets there?

Does every sentence have to try and be a joke? I've really enjoyed gatekeepers commentators being more of a "serious" source of content with more of an informative format rather then just goofy one line jokes. Great card to watch even with the sound off. Excellent video quality!
