Hey everyone! Thanks for all the great comments and feedback! As usual, not everything can make the cut, but as you probably saw, this was an extremely clean panel and it handled low luminance and low but-depth content really well. No TV is perfect (yet) and all involve a trade-off here or there, but no question: The LG G2 is a top performer in 2022. Now, on to the A95K and some comparisons!
Just watched your "how to clean a TV screen" video from last April and gotta say I am impressed by the hard work you've put in over the past year. Looking great, dude!
Really worried an extra few hundred pounds for an A95K is the “right choice”. I have to say my retailer in the UK has been very patient as I have dithered over what set to land on also. Not sure if you get the same experience state side?
Burn in Be Ware!
Curious to know exactly why the G2 may not be the right choice for Jon
Can you make a video on calibration software and hardware and if it's convenient for a normal person to calibrate their tvs with one?
I basically went through this same process of waffling on QD-OLED vs W-OLED. I ended up getting an LG G2 77" OLED, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. My main considerations were 1) new tech vs. established tech, and 2) available screen size. I was worried that there may be some issues with the new tech over the next few years, whereas LG has had a decade to perfect their OLED TV game. Even *after* my purchase, I was having some worries that I made the wrong choice, because QD-OLED did seem to *mostly* be living up to the hype. Ultimately though, I wanted a larger TV for the space I was putting it in, the LG G2 was *also* seeming to live up to the hype, and after having my G2 for a month, I'm so happy with it. It's just an incredible viewing experience, and as indicated in this review - it made movies/shows I've seen multiple times just a richer experience worth revisiting. Finally, my commentary on any brightness issues (without having any experience with QD-OLED other than on store displays) is that my TV is not only bright enough in brighter ambient settings, but it's honestly almost too bright in darker ambient settings. I find myself needing to tune my brightness down for certain content honestly. For my own viewing pleasure/experience, there's isn't a scenario where I would ever have the consideration "Do I need this to be brighter?" Take that for what it's worth.
Bottom line, I have zero regrets now, and would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a super premium home viewing TV experience. Thanks for all the great reviews/info!
Agree with the ambient light brightness. I have a room with 2 windows and sun directly hitting in the room most of the day. I was worried about the brightness, but this LG G2 is plenty bright in such setting, I simply wouldn’t want or need something brighter than this, the image is just bright and clear.
At night the brightness is almost too much indeed. People shouldn’t hesitate to go for this TV it has great advantages (the mat panel was a big turn off for me from the QD OLED) and looks really nice with the gallery design. Only minor is that I’ve been disappointed with the Gallery app on the TV. Sad to see that the content available is quite limited and that there’s no actual fake frame on the photos that display.
Brightness wars are getting ridiculous. I have a C8 OLED TV, Nano cell 55" for PC and latest 2022 Aero OLED laptop and they all need brightness dialed down to about 50% so my eyes aren't burned out.
I fully agree. I had first bought the S95B because of the hype and the expectations of this TV had been made true. The S95B is really impressive on almost all fronts and was a replacement for my TV in the gaming room. Then the G2 came out and i was really waiting for an oled TV to hit the 1000 nits mark in HDR with a more relaxing abl then the C2/A80K and at least on par or close with the S95B's abl, to replace my TV in the living room. Second requirement is that it has to be 77 inch. I ordered the 77G2 and thought, if it is really less then the S95B, then i will simply return it and wait another year for the 77 QD-oled. I have spend a lot of time doing side-by-side with the two and overall the G2 got my preference. The G2 is the best 77 inch oled TV you can buy this year and compared to the S95B (there are a lot of fanboys, don't understand why) the difference between both is negligible. I also like that LG oleds in general have a lot of customization options.
@@tbone5654 c8 55 was my first oled and I think it’s a beast, then I got a 65 Bx which I think was a serious step back and two weeks ago a I got a 65 C2, a great Tv. But at the end I think the C8 has the better image quality / color richness of the bunch.
@@davidc.7838 Interesting. I never watch a good film on the c8 in dolby vision and think, hey, this image quality is dated, I need to step up to something way better. 4 years later everything still looks stunning, equally as good as my new aero with the latest Samsung laptop oled.
I mount my 77 inch G2 with my best friend later today and I am so excited. I've been watching this and Jon Rettinger's reviews to continue my hype levels. It's been a long time coming for my first OLED. Keep up the great work Caleb 🤙🏾 so close to 1 million!
Hey Caleb. Great review as usual! Always informative and to the point. After waiting for your review, doing way, way too much research, and watching/reading every review I could find, I have decided to go with the 77 G2 this year. I am coming from a 65 C8 and can't wait to get the larger size to fit my viewing distance. Holding on for QD-OLED until it matures, offers a larger size and prices drop.
Amazing review from the best TV reviewer. As always I appreciate your insight, I think this is the set for me.
not the a90j?
@@jasahluwalia3672 I want the brightness of the G2.
Get the QNED90 you raved about in your review.
@@johnb4905 Incredible set. I want to try OLED at home.
I have had my G1 for over a year and I have had no complaints. It's not only a great panel but an elegant addition to my room ( I have surrounded it with varying sizes of artwork)
I think that safety is important and one should use double-protection technologies, such as Cross Staking !
Intriguing 🧐
finally TV reviews are flowing in on this channel, love this time of year!

after a week of using it with my ps5, i have come to the conclusion that this tv was made for the ps5. it is mindblowing

Hey I bought the lg c2 65 inch at best buy open box for 930 bucks! It has a good amount of hours it's been uses but there are no scratches or dings or anything, I feel like I got lucky and I'm guessing it was the display unit at the store? Either way I really like it but now there is a 77inch G2 in good condition for 1800 bucks. So double but I do want a bigger tv and if I keep the c2 it's going to be until like next black friday or something to get bigger
Been waiting for this one. Thank you.
Brilliant review 👍 I’ve waited a very long time, and researched for a long time. Your review has made my mind up. LG. I know I won’t be disappointed. Many thanks.
Great review. We just had the 77 inch G2 installed over the weekend and I totally agree; it’s easy to just get sucked into watching that tv because it really is that gorgeous. Even when watching my kid’s shows, the G2 is just a great viewing experience.
Got my 83" G2 with the stand set up with lights, it is beautiful.
Bought the 77G2 from lg as soon as it was available in April. Replaced a 75Nano99 from last year, never was happy with it. Could not be happier with the G2. Had a free shipping to room of choice and free installation. Installed it with some help with my son the day it arrived, could not wait for the install guys. I have been watching No Time To Die 4K over and over and just say Wow ( Filmmaker Mode). I cannot believe this picture looks so good.
Great review, thanks! I use a 2020 48” C series OLED in my office as my everything display connected to my desktop PC (productivity, PC gaming, and movie watching) one of my biggest reasons for choosing LG is the speed with which it switches between inputs, resolutions, and HDR modes. Can you start measuring these latencies in your reviews, it would be extremely helpful to those of us who use TVs for more than just watching movies. Thanks!
Second this, things like time from cold boot to seeing an image, time between switching inputs whether it be through manual selection or CEC are crucial QoL tidbits.
My LG C1 48 is a great TV for this, a large step up from my Vizio V505-J09.
Hey Caleb I love every video that you have reviewed.. It has shown quite a variety of televisions that you have reviewed and I love every television that you have reviewed including with the oleds. I'm going to grab the c1 & c2 oled. That's just my pick.
I just picked up a 77 inch for the family room of my first house which I can't actually setup for 2 months. Thank you for the review. Fascinated to see this tv in action when I can set it up.
The 65in is coming home! Thanks for another great review.
outstanding ! review... I was waiting for YOUR REVIEW in order to seriously start considering purchasing this tv. Thanks.
Glad we could help!
Great review can’t wait to go check out this TV!!!!!
Informative and helpful review. Much appreciated. I'm new to your reviews so have a question that has likely been asked before. What type of source do you use when watching content, in particular on the G2, for your reviews? DVD, a streaming device like AppleTV, etc? I currently have an LG C1 and love it but need to go bigger. Struggling to decide between C2 or G2... or spend more and go Sony.
As thoroughly as you explain everything, I've likely missed it, but have you done a video on the built in "OLED Care" (i.e. Pixel refresh, etc.) I've seen on some TV's? Do you utilized these to prevent burn in? Thank you all the great video reviews!!!
As usual, great video 👍
Just got the 77 inch C1. Loving it!
Just ordered a 83" G2 with the stand. Scheduled to arrive in a few days. It's replacing a 2013 65" Vizio 1080p. So stoked!
I’ve had the G2 65inch for two weeks now & its absolutely brilliant.
Do you experience any coil whine on bright picture? In expert mode it's very noticeable and annoying. In standard mode its fine... But i dont like standard mode.
What is the video you are playing on the TV during the review? Love the channel btw.
Got my G2 the day it was released in Houston love the 77 inch!
Thanks for the video review.
Great work Caleb, I really appreciate your perspective on this years displays… BOOM
Thanks!
Waited awhile to get this TV, just ordered the 55 inch, It was a tough decision between the the g2 and the c3, in the end I went for the g2 based on this review , Thank you Caleb, I have subscribe to your channel.
Thanks for the review. Currently in the market for a new TV and torn on what to go with. I have the Samsung Q8 from 2018 now and it’s been great, but lacking in all the current technology, specifically for gaming. I want to make the jump to OLED, I’ve been looking at the G1, G2, or C2; but worried about the room brightness and reflection issues. Hummm….
These are all the comments I've been hearing that the LG G2 is awesome and probably the best OLED LG has ever made.
Awesome review!
Nice review Caleb. I bought my first Oled a 65 C1 about 7 mos ago. I’m considering a 77 LG and move the 65 upstairs to replace a Sony LED. Wall mount is not an option for me. The G1 stand is almost a no go for me. Btw, love your BDI media stand. I just can’t throw down 3K for the Corridor.
This wasn't mentioned in the review, but the reason the G2 can get much brighter than the C2 in HDR scenes is because of the heatsink. Prior G series models never had a heatsink. I think compared to the C2 or any other of their older models, it is worth the upgrade to the G2.
Not quite accurate. G1 also had a heatsink and was the 1st LG TV to have it.
@@GetUrOwnHandle G1 did not have heatsink. Was super bright, tho.
G2 will be blinding! 😎
Pretty sure I mentioned the heat sink? But yes, the G2 has one.
@@GetUrOwnHandle A90J and the JZ1500/2000 were the only ones last year that had a heat sink. G1 did not.
@@Caleb_Denison You mentioned that the heatsink enables the panel to be brighter without risk of burn-in.
What do I think of the G2? Well, considering I just bought a 77" G2, all I can say is that 'm absolutely over the moon with it. Coming from a 65B6 LG OLED and a Sony 75" X900F, the G2 is in a league of it's own. If you're in doubt of buying this TV, don't doubt any longer and just get it. You'll be amazed.
How big of a leap was going to a 2022 OLED from a 2016 B6? Currently owning a 55" B6 and considering switching later this year when the prices are more affordable. Probably going for a C2 or A80K compared to a G2, though.
@@HanzeHenrik Color rendition, near black handling, panel uniformity, peak highlights... All is significantly better on the G2 compared to the B6. Between each year the differences are incremental, but now after 6 years it's definitely worth it. This may vary from person to person as my girlfriend probably won't see a ton of differences when asked for it. The leap in size going from 65" to 77" also helps with the experience. All I can say, this is what I wanted 6 years ago when 77" OLED panels were still $ 15.000,-. I'm a happy camper and the next step will be 88" or even 97" OLED. Yeah!!
@@svenverbruci2543 Nice! Appreciate the thorough answer. Good luck on your many hours with the TV forward!
85"worser guy!!??
Did you have any issues with coil whine?
Amazing review as always!
Thanks!
@@digitaltrends Welcome!
Very well explained🤙🤙
Recently, I pulled the trigger on purchasing a 77” LG G1 for half the price of it successor. I’m stoked, but quite certain the higher nits make for an even more visually stunning display. How I know, is because I see the world of a difference in the iPhone 13 versus my iPhone 12 Pro.
I just ordered a 77” G2 from Value Electronics! Cant wait!
Everyone should be aware that nits higher nits doesn’t correlate linearly with perception of brightness. It takes a 10x increase in nits to perceive twice as much brightness. It’s logarithmic. I never see this mentioned. EDIT: correction. But still, it’s not linear. Needs to be 4x as bright to be perceived to be twice as bright. And 8x as bright to be perceived as being 3x as bright
I think it is a natural log, so not 10x but more like 3x
@@marioborz8254 ahhh I think you are right, thanks for the correction. I think it actually need to be 4x as bright to be perceived as 2x as bright. Then 8x as bright to be perceived as 3x as bright.
Nits as in little insects on your head? /S
Great review
I'm this close to buying the G2 77". Thanks for the review Caleb.
Thank you so much for this review :-) SHARPNESS, though, how is it on this top-model? I've seen several say that lesser LG OLED's have a fairly soft image, so I was just wondering :-)
I'm not a fan of the remote control. I could do without a scroll wheel-select button combo. Seems to scroll accidently when I want to select. Probably because the amount of pressure it takes to push the button. Since the button is recessed its really awkward to get used to.
Thanks for this
We’re looking at the Sony XR A90 J Oled once our house is completed. Can you do a comparison between that and this LG G2 Oled?
I went to Bestbuy and looked G2 and liked it. I looked at G1 and liked it. I settled for G1 77inch and really liked it. I’m satisfied. I hope within next 3 to 5 years LG will do qd Oled at 77 inch and I’ll upgrade again.
I have the 65inch GX from 2020 and it's the first time I don't have that niggling feeling of missing out on the latest TV's. I don't think I'll upgrade again for a while, but assuming LG keep it up over the coming years then I'll definitely be happy to just upgrade to the latest LG gallery OLED when the time comes.
Soooooo, I have the 65” CX, which I love a lot. I just can’t see how it can get better, since I’ve had this one for 2 years now. Should I really consider getting this one in a 77” one though?
For those possibly debating between C2 or G2, I have the C2 77 inch upgrading from a C9 55 inch. While I can't comment on the G2 specifically, I can tell you that the processor in C2/G2 is significantly better than in the C9. The picture in movies and tv show is a lot better! Motion with everything turn off is A LOT better. Picture is a lot clearer and pure. As for brightness, C2 is brighter but what I really enjoy is that the brightness is more control, you actually can turn on DTM and see that the tv is just not getting super over exposed across the board. Its not crazy more brighter but the better control makes for better contrast and better experience. Finally, gaming wise, the C2 is perfect in all way. I actually enjoy very much the dolby vision gaming at 120hz on Series X, no need to play with settings you just enjoy a nice picture and low input lag. All I just said is applicable to the G2 except the brightness which is higher but that would be the only difference and not really a big one in my opinion cause if you have a very lit room you should not get an OLED tv in the first place... so its a non issue really.
Only difference.. hahaha G2 also has a crisper picture, truer whites and better audio.. but who's paying attention?
Hi great video. Can you confirm how long LG power cords are. I know they're fixed in so wanted to make sure it'll be long enough. 😊
Thank you always for your clear and precise reviews.
I am about to replace my six year old 1080p Samsung that started to burn on the bottom left side. The tv became very hot and burned through, melting the tv bezel and damaging the screen in that area.
With that said I am in the market for a 55 inch 4K TV. The LG C2, LG qned 85 series and yes the Samsung QLED 90B. Why Samsung again. Not sure why?
Leaning towards the OLED.....and closer around black Friday to purchase.
Thanks again for your videos 📹 👍🏼
Any thoughts on the 86UQ7590PUD. I respect your input and advice a lot. Thanks!
Waiting for your qd-oled vs oled comparison. Looking at either the g2 or Sony qd oled in the largest size. Bring on the review!
I finished up Terminal List last night and notice something curious. Most my HDR content since I got the TV has been in Dolby Vision, and of course I watched the movies in SDR also. I've also played some games on it with my PC and unless I leave a static game image on the screen I've never notice the ABL kick in. However when watching Terminal list which toward the latter half of the series has a lot of sustained darker scenes. I noticed the ABL kick in during dark scenes very frequently, now it doesn't dim it near as dark as my old C9, but it is noticeable. I've watched movies with sustained darker scenes in Dolby vision like Malignant, Stranger Things and Kenobi and never noticed the ABL kick in during those sustained darker scenes. Maybe it was just me, but next time I watch some Dolby Vision content I'll pay more attention.
Question: thinking about upgrading my sound system. Currently running all peripherals into TV and running an optical cable out to sound system. What are the downsides to running all peripherals into a sound system and then running eARC back to TV?
Absolutely worth it love mine
Just bought the LG Oled G2 Gallery edition with the matching sound bar. Of course it's all about the viewing and technology.
But, I am a true believer that a TV has to look just has good when it is off and not in use, has it has when it is on.
And in this area, there isn't a tv on the market at the moment that can truly beat the aesthetics of this pure thoroughbred stallion from the stables of LG.
The one thing that I would wish that they would have done with this latest model, was to spend a little more 'design' time on the remote so it paired better with this outstanding design of their tv.
Just ordered my 65" G2! I'll go see the G3 in person and if I like it I'll swap. Thanks for this review!
My best friend just bought the LG G1. All C1 and G1 are on sale. He's leaving his Panasonic Plasma behind.
Stop listening to the brightness. OLED is bright. And LED LCD is too bright especially if it's 1000+. Brighter is better. HDR looks better with more nits. But, you will turn down the brightness.
If you have a TV 5yrs old or more? The C1 or G1 will be perfect. If you're a plasma owner? OLED is your tech. Try to grab an LG C1/G1. Nothing beats the motion handling of plasma. But, looking at solid 4k HDR/DV is amazing. You can also turn on motion interpolation just one notch and things should be smooth for your plasma eyes.
LG C2/G2 are wonderful TV as well. But, for the price point. The LG C1/G1 is more amazing.
So to be honest, I’ve got a Samsung S95B originally, which turned out to be damaged from the factory with rows of dead pixels. It still worked, and looked amazing, but I sent it back and got the G2 instead. I do not miss the S95B. This thing is incredible. And in my use case (dark room), it’s insanely bright and looks phenomenal. Great review Caleb!
I'm so torn between the G2 and the Samsung s95b. I kept switching my mind on which one to get when they arrive in australia. I think the due update of Samsung which apparently dulled the tv has made my mine to try the G2, but not having seen either in person, I rely on the reviews and people are always saying that the s95 is dazzling!
@@andyeban I was torn between the G2 and waiting for the A95K and to be honest, I don’t regret getting the G2. Color volume is definitely noticeable if you’ve seen both of the TVs, but all the qualities of the G2 just made it a great set for me personally, plus don’t forget that it comes with a 5 year warranty that includes specifically burn in. So it’s a huge piece of mind vs the notorious unreliability and lack of QC on Samsung side plus only a single year of warranty that does not cover burn in. So it’s a simple choice for me.

Great review! I just finally got my 83" G2 installed over the weekend. Still scratching the surface but coming from a 77" C8, the impressions are great. I can see the additional detail from the processor for cable and HD content, I can see the increased brightness in both SDR and HDR highlights, and the gaming features are amazing!. QD-OLED wasn't an option since I wanted a larger screen size but i would venture to bet that in the vast majority of content available today, the difference between a G2 and an QD-OLED would be slight at best. Overall, G2 is an awesome TV.
Amazing bro! Thanks for this amaing informative commrnt, so what do u think of the screen uniformity on the 83 G2? cant wait to get mine. & am coming from the 65 KS9500.

Interesting review. Would you say 83 inch is worth it over 77? I could buy a LG 77 A1 for 1700€ or a LG 83 C1 for 3400€ (double the price)
@@Vincewins get the c1. It is a very large size difference in person. It truly is.

Is it that big difference in brightness and colors between G2 and C2/C1? Also how about build in speakers ?

Still got my lg c9 from 2019. Probably gonna wait a couple of years before upgrading. Keeping an eye on the qd-oled tech think the 2nd and 3rd generations of tvs using that tech will be the way to go. For first gen the don’t and Samsung have really impressed. Can’t imagine what the sets will be like in a couple of years time when they’ve had time to really push and get used to the technology. With a heat sink, qd-oled will be able to match lcd for brightness in the future.

Ok. After watching your C2 review, I watched the G2 review. My question is… Is bigger Better? For about the same price point I can either buy a 77 Inch LG C2 or 65 inch LG G2. Before watching this video, I was ready to pull the trigger on the 77 C2. (77 G2 in out of my price range). Which one do YOU recommend? Thank you 😎👍
Hi, thank for all your well deserved doing nothing with this tv! I have one question: did they do something really effective with burn in! I just returned a Panasonic oled.
@Caleb, have you noticed any issue with britness on g2 during a day? I have similar windows on left so wondering if oled can handle it.
Is it looking dimm for hdr/sdr or better should be as you mentioned some mini led as Sony x95k or Samsung s95b. Thanks
marvelous, stupendous and collosal
I am primarily using the main TV for gaming so we were going to go with the C2 but now I'm not sure. May have to do a sit and stare comparison. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!!
I am seriously considering getting this tv around Black Friday for my home cinema room. Only doubt I have, I will also be playing Xbox Series X on it, but I’ve read that the HGiG isn’t working properly? Did you do any gaming on it and notice that?
I'm a big fan of entertainment centers that have a swivel mount built-in. Been doing that for about 10 years and it's worked out great. Also great if you have cats and they knock stuff over.
Please compare the 3d depth of tvs and let us know which tv has the best 3d depth. My old samsung qled definitely had more 3d depth than my lg c1 oled.
I'm having trouble figuring out if I'm gonna end up with the C1 or the G2, for my budget I could either get C1 65 inch or 55 inch g2. I like the stand with the C1 but stand kinda weird on g2
diggin the 24fps. is that new?
I even heard that the motion and processing has caught up to Sony tvs.
I do like how it's tv stand mount is so much smaller than the LG c1
would you her this as an upgrade to the LG Gx65inch ? or is it not worth the upgrade

Qual imagem devo utilizar para sala com pouca iluminação? Estou na dúvida entre CINEMA e CINEMA EM CASA. O modo FILMMAKER MODE é para sala totalmente escuro.
Random question. Is there still a sound delay when enabling Dolby Atmos on Xbox Series X? I got rid of my LG CX for that reason, and was wanting to come back if/when this issue was fixed. Unfortunately, last year’s C1 still had the sound latency problem.
I saw that the G2 have a greenish tint, is it something we can "fix" by putting warmer colors in the settings ??
Spend the last two weeks deciding between G2 and Sony A90j. Both 83". Finally found them side by side at oneof my local Best Buy Magnolia and both were awesome but I could definitely see better clarity and color looks much better for me on the Sony A90j. So ended up going with the 83" A90j Sony. Was a tough choice but since both were priced at $4800 I wanted to take my time with my choice. Tv will be installed on my media room that has no windows. If it was for my living room would definitely choose the LG G2.
😊
I ended up getting the 77 inch C2 - wall mounting is not an option for me and I was not impressed with the add on stand for the G2. Both look like phenomenal TVs!
Ehh G series is made for wallmounting, you might as well have bought C2 and saved some cash. You are literally paying extra for the tv to be flat and the included wall mount.
Hi Caleb , I am looking to buy this model in 77” , have technical questions ,I hope you could help , first how we can access usbs port while tv stock to wall, I saw 65” size which was stuck to wall with no way to access to, second how fast is wifi ax connection , my current lg is 2014 model with AC wifi but has so much buffering, next I like to know is if this tv can connect to Bose Q35 headphone , my 2014 model doesn’t , last few years I read a lot. About this issue that LG BT only works with their own headphone , I would appreciate if you give some helpful answers
What about Samsung qn95b mini led? How does it compare with g2? I don’t seam to fupind a quality comparison. Thank you!
If the G2 is the same price as the C3, which TV would you recommend me buying?
Speaking of brightness, when is the TCL C93 being released in the United States?
Ive yet to see this panel in action, that said im sure its going to be quite remarkable
Next please do A95k VS LG G2 !
looking for an advice, i want to buy an oled for the 1st time, I'm a user of everything on the tv, since the sony price is way to high i"m thinkimg on lg c2 but the heatsink on the g2 seems something to consider, my goal is 65, using it on dark room with temp arround 28 celsius.
Switched from the S95B due to constant ALB issues and fidgety settings adjustemnt repeatedly needed from source to source...... Looking forward to it arriving tomorrow. (wall mounting so no stand mount negativity on the horizon!)
G2 has the same if not worse there's a way to turn it off
@@NexGenTek the ABL on S95B was the tip of the iceberg though to be honest. UHD Sky Sports had significantly more picture noise than my 2017 OLED, motion tracking was absurdly poor with the same feed and the stutter on panoramic shots without motion smooth in on was just vomit inducing. With it on more picture noise was experienced. Feed the S95B 4/8k HDR YT and it is sublime. Anything else it just becomes less appealing to watch. From my experience, the set also needs constant fine adjustment from content to content with intelligent mode on/off - motion handling adjustment and other basics needing toggling. I honestly wanted it to amaze me, especially when the price point is not cheap for the set.
@@Pedders529 intelligent mode should've been off not sure what 2017 OLED you had but that definitely seems wrong they didn't even have processing chips then. So it was either severely crushing everything so you couldn't see or I'm calling bull. The motion has been amazing. I use CZcams TV everything is basically 1080p60 and it's pristine and smooths out jaggies better than the A95K. Unfortunately I think you didn't really know what you were doing with the settings maybe the G2 will be easier for you. If you're looking for that wow factor I wouldn't hold my breath. I've only got that on the S95B it's in a class of its own.
The G2 is the best TV right now
Hey the G2 has ASBL as well, the heatsink does make it less aggressive than other TV’s, but it can also be disabled in the service menu. The G2 does come with a 5 year warranty, so it’s not as big of a concern to turn it off, you do run the risk of them denying your warranty claim if something does happen, but you can always go back into the menu and turn it back on so you can bail out at anytime and so they don’t find out.
The two settings are ASBL and GSR that you want to change, there’s lots of videos on how to do it.
Hence why we try to get the best of the best tv depending on the rooms we're buying for. X95K for the bright living room. a80J for the bedroom and soon 77inch C2 for our Den/Movie room
This or the a90j for the 83inch variant- siince they both have heat sink?
