- Travel Editor of Vanity Fair and award-winning writer Michelle Jana Chan tells TEDxWarwick about some poignant travel experiences of hers. These include voyages to destinations such as Scotland, Mongolia and China, all with their own unique stories. Michelle also gives her answer to what the future of travel may entail once we can freely move again, positing that we will plan our trips more carefully, take our time to fully appreciate each step of our journey and remember our trips more keenly. Michelle is the Travel Editor of Vanity Fair and Contributing Editor of Conde Nast Travel. In 2016 she was awarded with the Travel Writer of the Year and Consumer Magazine Feature of the Year award. I love & share the passion for travels so well relayed here. The only thing to add for the future of travel is 'how'! Which brings to mind my father's recounting of his 60 Km journey by horse & cart from his small town to the next city that took all day, but how one could take in all the beauty of the ragged Sicilian landscape...if the weather was kind.
The pleasures and inspirations of travel no matter the journey - thank you Michelle for reminding me.

Hope you’ll well. Hans now has 3 kids in LA, Trent 2 in Salt Lake. Me-7 grandkids under 4. Traveling to the Florida Keys, Sicily, Greece, LA and Salt Lake City over the next months-vaccinated and boosted.
