- In todays video we finally put E85 into Andrew's car. We had to run down the gas for a while but the outcome was way more than worth it so let us know what you think and we hope that this convinces you to go E85 as well! Let us know what you think of the video and what other mods should we do to our cars. Enjoy :)

I love this. My dream car is a GR86. It's coming.
Appreciate the love! Love to hear you’re getting your dream car!
I live in AZ and we only get 91. Every now and then I add 3 gallons of e85 to my tank and fill the rest with 91. It does make a difference for sure. No tune at the moment. It helps as well once the temperatures are over 100 degrees.
We only get 91 here too lol, sadly no higher :( Have you experienced any problems with mixing the fuels at all though? Also, we’d definitely recommend buying an ecutek if you’re debating on tuning your car👀 Makes a world of a difference!
@@carantix hmm.. I used to live in CA years ago. I thought you guys had 93 for some reason. adding 2-3 gallons of e85 to 91 tank can net you between 94-95 octane I believe. these cars were meant to run on 93 due to high compression. I would not do more than 3 gallons on stock ECU. ive been mixing the fuel since February of this year. I've talked to others who have been axing fuel for some time now with no issues. I do it once a month or so. if I keep the car long enough, I do plan to tune it. Currently we are hitting temps of 115 here, so mixing does make a difference on how the car runs in hot temps.
Maybe we’ve just missed some 93 stations somewhere. I honestly wouldn’t doubt if they had one just hidden🤷♂️ That’s really cool though that you’re able to mix 91 with e85 to make 93. We never thought of that but we should’ve tried when we had the chance. I’d bet that it really does help out the cars like you’re saying!😎😎
@@carantix it does. the car loves the e85. it does pull harder between 3500-5000rpms. no more sluggishness in the lower rpm range as well!
Glad to hear man! It really comes alive when there’s no more torque dip😂😂
I’ve been on the fence about running e85, but now I’m definitely going to run it! Awesome video! 💯🔥🔥🔥
bros how did you get a pop tune on the 86 i wanna learn how to do it
Step 1: Get an ecutek
Step 2: Get a tuner
Step 3: Enjoy :)
Or, you can also just get an OFT/RomRaider and input negative values on the advance timing b table
In all seriousness, you can learn how to do it through youtube if you have an oft, otherwise through ecutek the right tuner will do it for you :)
dope man thanks @@carantix
What state are you guys in? Commenting from cali bay area. Lots of good driving roads out here!
We are also from Cali! Just from the south. Would love to visit NorCal tho!
How did you get a pop tune? Who tuned it
Car is tuned by boosted performance, you can opt in for a pop tune
Hmmm. Didn’t your engine fail?
Maybe…lol
Where do you get the gr86 hot wheel?
Our friend bought it as a gift lol so tbh we don't really know the site, but your best bet would probably be looking on Etsy or AliExpress
How can I get in contact with this tuner? thank you.
You could possibly dm them on instagram @boostedperformancetuning or maybe contact thru their website www.boostedperformancetuning.com/
are you running flex fuel kit
on gr
what brand?
Currently not running a flex fuel kit on the car, just an e85 tune from Boosted Performance!
Would’ve been funny if the car didn’t make the gas station 🙈
Would you have come to save us?
@@carantix probably not
GR 86 hp is lame. Shame on Toyota,/Subaru
Hp is kinda weak ngl but at least you’re faster than the first gens lol
Pfft yeah maybe before e85 an a exhaust 😂
it's not supposed to be a supercar
