    My truck doesn't seem to have this part where yours is at? Or at all

      Not all models have the glow plug controller. I have another video that I just put out about two weeks ago. That is the other version with a glow plug relay instead.

    So I replaced my glow plugs less than a year ago when I changed my fuel injectors, and recently I've got a code for glow plug 1 and 3 malfunction. Should j try n change my glow plug control module too?

      I would take a few more steps to diagnose the problem first. You can do an ohm check from the glow plug controller connector to ground to test each individual glow plug and the circuitry between the controller and the plug to make sure there’s no breaks in the lines or excessive resistance.

      I suppose it is definitely a possibility however, it’s virtually impossible to truly diagnose that over the Internet

    Is that the glow plug relay next to it? Or intake relay

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  Před 2 lety +1

      That is the relay for the intake air Heater

      Thank you for the response. Ive been trying to find the glow plug relay. Is there a link you could send me or description of where it is? Its identical to this engine.

      @@Hawaiianguy1 my engine does not use a glow plug relay, instead it has a glow plug controller. That is what I replaced. Trucks that use a relay usually place it right next to the intake heater relay. They will be side by side.

      @@amsoiladam would this be a problem in warm weather. Replaced all glow plugs 2 weeks ago. Won't start now after driving about an hour ago. Thinking maybe even side valve cover wire harness may be bad. Idk
