The great thing about Cameron Monaghans Joker is just how versatile his portrayal is. When doing the video tape scene in Gotham he was able to portray Hamil, Nicholson, and Ledgers Joker all in one smooth transition. It was quite brilliant.

Aside from Mark Hamill, there's just something about Heath's laugh just feels the most natural. I don't think the other laughs are bad, but they do feel a little more forced compared to his.

He had about 2 or 3 different types of laughs in the film, and I thought that was genius. Heath might be the best Joker, but I never liked his laugh. Sounds like he's purposefully pushing all the air out of his lungs before the actual laughing starts.

Why are you people prasing this mutant joker? You're blind to see how brilliant the "Gotham" Joker is. A young actor that perfectly portrays all aspects of the Joker: The style of Nicholson, the voice of Ledger and the sheer Fun of Mark Hamill. Such an underrated performance. Jerome sweeps the floor with that thing from "The Batman".

People are already interviewing him about his take so it's already getting that legendary, got to know how you did that type of appeal. He needs to be the new main Joker. The actors trying to copy Heath? You saw Letos joker….right? It was nothing like Heaths joker and it got the most hate. Phoenix’s joker wasn’t even realized until the final scenes and there was almost no similarities besides the basics of what makes the joker..him.
And this joker hasn’t really been able to show a ton but so far has an entirely different laugh and mannerisms. I also don’t get the same vibe this joker seems more able to snap. He went from a almost normal person to very off putting. Heaths joker always sustained that crazed confidence.
I do like your idea but I think it doesn’t really seem like the joker. The joker isn’t really suppose to have the problem. He isn’t suppose to be causing problems for himself but for others whilst getting amusement out of it. I think it could definitely work as a separate character though and would be entertaining as hell.

I think Ledger's laugh was the best. when batman hits him, it seems that it really causes him to laugh impossible to hold, it sounds very real.
The best Heath Ledger joker laugh in my opinion was when he was laughing as he was falling off the skyscraper to what was almost his death. Just like he said earlier in the movie, “in their last moments, people show you who they really are.” That laugh was the cherry on top for what was an already fantastically written character.

I really like mark hamils laugh and health leadgers. However many people underestimate the newest joker laugh that I actually am a huge fan of!
I think Cameron and Nicholson both had better laughs than the ones you chose. Cameron's laugh when he fell to his death and Nicholsons laugh when he rose from the basement were both great

it is certainly unique, but that's not inherently a good thing. if the next joker shows up and literally starts doing a donkey laugh every time he's onscreen, it would be unique, but not necessarily very good or fitting for the character.

I mean, there’s not much to discuss. I think Heath’s joker is virtually unbeatable. Everything about his version of joker is better than all of the others
Heath incorporated the “ooooh” while laughing to add the catching of the breath. Usually you do that so you can laugh some more, which is the maniacal side of laughing more at someone’s pain or death.
Barry’s laugh, even though Batman and the villains are in their infancy, I’m having trouble getting used to. It just sounds like a little kid idk. I hope later in the series it becomes more menacing because the look is 🔥🔥🔥
The Joker is my favorite villain. Even though he doesn't have any friends he still finds a reason to laugh because he knows that laughter is health.
In terms of the laugh Mark Hamill nails it for me, every other laugh except for leto and Heath's is like a little lesser version id say,but Heath's was unique as well.

Fun fact: Apparently the reason Leto’s sounds the way it does is because during one of their fights, Batman damaged his lungs and throat.
Which honestly made it go from really lame to kinda badass in my mind, lol.

Leto's Knightmare Joker laugh is actually good when you think of the circumstances behind it. His Joker has been beaten into hell. It's kind of hard to laugh when your ribs have been broken, lungs punctured, bruised, battered, and all around destroyed. The fact that he still laughs shows how crazy he is

Jared improved himself in ZSJL but should work on that laughter so it doesn't sound like he has asma. If we ever see him again in the unreleased Ayer Cut or another Snyderverse film.
Or they should give a visual context to his laugh. Example being a flashback where batman punches him in the throat so hard that a squeaking door is the only way he can laugh.

Unpopular opinion, while Jared gets hate I still love his version I just think he was designed and written poorly, but the Snyder cut version is the one we needed to see from the start.

I think Jack's best Joker laugh was in the museum after Vicky thinks he's melting and he says boo. The following laugh was pretty money. At least Jack's best one as the character imo.
