@@chim__parkif you've ever read or heard of One More Day, the comic where Peter makes a deal with Mephisto to make everyone forget he's spider-man, it's pretty much this movie's plot. similar shit happens except it isn't a hard restart for NWH Peter when the deal is made, instead he knows nobody knows who he is anymore and he has to live with that knowledge. so not only is he completely alone now, but he 100% knows why and that it's his responsibility because he made the deal. he actually has the memory to learn and grow from what happened in this movie, instead of it being retconned and hes back to square one. all things considered, this Peter is taking his whole traumatic backstory relatively well. but tbh I have no idea if this was intended or not but they literally just made One More Day better.

Love the "trying to do better line" cause to Otto it's pretty recent, but to Peter it's been well over a decade or two, just a little look in their eyes show Peter never forgot how much Otto meant to him, and that Otto realises that Peter, although grown up, is still somewhat grappling with his dual life just not to the same extent, and that he's retained the attitude of still trying to keep going no matter what. Definitely reading into it a lot but damn, the thought of that is just AAAAAAAAA

The way that Andrew Garfield Spider-Man propels himself harder and catches MJ in a different way than when he tried to catch Gwen is a nice detail. The part I like the most about him saving her is the fact that it goes from him saving her to her comforting him slightly. You can clearly see he's having a moment. Like as soon as he saw her falling he got thrust into a flashback of Gwen's death.

In amazing spider man 2 , he didn't had time to grab her directly, so he used web , but the web saved her from the impact to the group, but broke her spine. I think if he used both his web shooters and webbed her both hands with each, and then tie them up and use another web to tie to himself he could have saved Her, maybe her hands will be severely damaged but she would be alive. Or better, grab her chest with one web and hip with another, that will work better, assuming her cloths were strong enough.

You've got reboots and crossovers and nostalgia fan service trips out the wazoo in stuff like Indiana Jones, star wars, jurassic park, you name it. If it was a Hollywood blockbuster, it's got a remake that tried to revive it.
What puts no way home apart, is that despite the corniness, clichés, fan service and being predictable and formulaeic, it works. It just works. Not once did I roll my eyes. As awesome as it was seeing all 3 Spider-Mans together in one film, I gotta say, Willem DaFoe stole every scene he was in. He’s just too perfect as the Green Goblin. Actually, the reference is to a what if comic that recounted the death of Gwen Stacy in a different way. Instead of trying to save Gwen by throwing a web (as in TASM 2), Peter would lunge at her to save her, something he does. Everything about this movie is perfect. I don't care if it's a fan service, this movie is incredible. One of my absolute favorite parts of this movie is the "Can the Spiderman come out to play?" and it cuts to Tobey was genuis; as if he was reliving that moment from 20+ years ago all over again. The feeling of dread, heart sinking, and just over all adrenaline for the battle that's about to happen. I could go on and on about this movie and Spiderman for days if not weeks but I won't 😂. I just love this character and this film so much. I wanna relive watching it for the first time in a huge crowded theater again and again. The pure excitement in the room when Andrew and Tobey appeared was something I'll never forget. Thank you Spiderman and most importantly, thank you Stan Lee for creating this amazing, spectacular, incredible, inspiring character.
