Mark Hamill really changed my perspective of the Joker in so many ways. He is the perfect voice actor for Joker, in my opinion.
He is Everyone's Favourite voiced Joker.
Luke Skywalker as bozo the clown with a mental diaorder
Bit seriously mark hamils voice as joker is very unique and hard to mimic
Charles Dunn have you heard Troy Baker?
He was great, but my fav was Anthony Ingruber

It's Mark Hamill or bust... Followed by Troy Baker and John DiMaggio (I loved his work in Under the Red Hood.)
Nicholas Hylton I personally like Kevin Michael Richardson even though many hate that version.
Brent SpIner was a good, "not trying to be Hamill" Joker, but yes Troy and John are the runner-ups after Hamill.
My thoughts exactly
Nicholas Hylton I agree with ya.
Under the Red Hood was one of my favorite Jokers in terms of personality in the character. He had those low, -under-the-breath quips reminiscent of how Heath Ledger spoke, adding a darker side, but was also prone to telling a joke and following it with raucous laughter in the fashion we all expect from the character. If Mark Hamill voiced the Joker with that Under the Red Hood personality, it would make for a true masterpiece Joker presentation.
Mark Hamill has the absolute best voice for joker! His laugh is my favorite laugh. No other actor can do a laugh like his!
I can
@@IDK-gq3xb hahahahahaha
I actually think Kevin Richardson did a good job at making a "different" version of the Joker for The Batman. He still sounds just as vocally unstable at Mark Hamill, but grittier and deeper. He's still incredibly expressive, but in an oddly unique way.
I agree. I know people weren’t fans of that iteration due to his willing to fight and stuff but thought KMR did a good job and that iteration kept the core elements of the character
Same. The design is terrible and I thought the voice acting would be terrible along with it but he did a good job at making it bearable
0:17 that’s how Joaquin Phoenix laughs in Joker
"we live in a society......where the Riddler is the district attorney"
The Joker saved Mark Hamill's career and I'll always respect his work, he's simply the best.
did it? the argument could definitely be made that he still did star wars and whether or not he did anything since then star wars is still one of the largest franchises ever
@Boss Killa Nobody would accept him as an actor BECAUSE of Star Wars. He was too recognizable, like Harry Potter's actors are now. People didnt want Luke Skywalker playing their character. Voice acting saved his career because his talent could shine without being derailed by Star Wars. Sure, Star Wars made a lot of money, but I dont think his contract was sales-based, it was initial payment.
@@xdude228 what, and the rock, vin diesel , and other actors that mostly play themselfs arent recognizable?
@@UncleDaniel They arent so irreversibly tied to their first ever role as Mark was to Luke. Theres star power, and that's good, but it's the same situation right now with Daniel Radcliffe and Harry Potter. You look at Radcliffe, you dont see Radcliffe, or whoever character he plays, you see Harry Potter. That's why he's struggling to distance himself from the role.
Bruh Mark Hamill saved the Jokers career
The laughing between every one slowly turns you insane.
It just takes one bad day...

Jerome 2018
The joker transitions are hella annoying
Hahahahhahahahahahaha
You could ask Batman...
Jose Reyes shup up bitch
does anybody know where the laugh in the transition came from??
Especially when he becomes a shitty actor like Jared Leto.
Brent Spiner was underrated. He was obviously basing his take off Hamill (like 90% of everyone who came after Hamill), but he put a genuinely dark and unsettling edge to it.
I honestly think he was doing his own thing. I got a chance to talk to him years back at a convention for his role as Data about his Joker and it originally was gonna be Hamill but Hamill backed out due to scheduling conflicts
Mark Hamill, Troy Baker, John DiMaggio, and Michael Emerson have all been the obvious high points of animated Joker since it's inception almost 50 years ago. All great voice actors, can't wait to see how they adapt Joker next, as long as it isn't lego.
C# Scholar nigga it's for kids AND FAMILY
мιиту fяєѕн nigga I don't care, besides the most recent lego batman movie, every other lego portrayal of the batman series was terrible, even for children and family movie standards. Also, since I was mainly speaking about Joker's VA all portrayals of Joker in the lego movies have been terrible.
C# Scholar Not it hasn't. Their voices are OK, just not amazing. Also, I actually want to see Mark Hamil voice in a Lego movie. It'll be great.
Troy Baker, he's done videogames and a few things here and there but he is most dead on if you can't afford Mark Hamill
What about Kevin Michael Richardson?
Mark Hamill, Troy baker and John DiMaggio are my favorite sounding Jokers in cartoons. 👍
I always had a soft spot for Kevin Michael Richardson's Joker, wish he had gotten more work as him.
@@Wabajak13 one of the few Joker's who cared for Harley too.
All of them are awesome, but we can't forget Kevin Michael Richardson. He was pretty damn good, too, and Michael Emerson brought a great version of Joker to the table as well.
troy baker was literally copying mark hamills joker because he was playing mark hamills koker especially in arkham origins and assault on arkham was a tie in to the arkham games when mark hamill retired for a short time
@@chazeverett ok
i like how kevin michael richardson gives his own take on the character
instead of trying to be a mark hamill rip off (like many before and after him) he gives his own insane spin on the clown prince of crime, with a more mature and scary type of voice. he's also very flexible with the role, not afraid to improvise a bit
how would other jokers before Mark Hamil try to rip him off?
You can't tell me that Kevin Michael Richardson wasn't a great Joker. The feral look on him is so awesome especially as a vampire.
T H E N F E E D M E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E

Personally, he, alongside BBATB Joker are my favourite of the animated ones.

@@chzbear what was wrong with it
@@chzbear bruh why
I think the Joker is hands down the best villian out of all the villians between Marvel and DC. He is insane and fun and not to mention iconic. Oh yeah does anyone realize how much the non Mark Hamill Jokers try so hard to imitate his sound. And none of them really come close. Besides Troy Baker that is. The man sounds almost identical.
Kasp_The_Ghost I agree. But I think that the green goblin is a close second. My favorite version of the green goblin is probably spectacular Spider-Man. And joker has to be The Batman because of his split personality. One moment he'd be making jokes and the next he'd be screaming like a mad man!
True, many try to either imitate Mark Hamill or Caesar Romero and ruin the character in the process.
Well i`d argue that both Kevin Richardson and John DiMaggio make a pretty good case for themselves with their own take of the joker. They are, in my opinon, the best versions of the joker besides Mark Hamil (and therefore Troy Baker)
Troy baker!!! Hes great!
I prefer Doctor Doom and Magneto..
1) Mark Hammill
2) Troy Baker, John Dimaggio, Kevin Michael Richardson :3
Agreed.
John Dimaggio is great but I just can't take his joker seriously cuz of his voice resembling his other voice acted character Jake the dog 😂😂
Couldn’t agree more, finally someone appreciates my man Kevin.
Honestly my favorite version is the one from “The Batman.” Such an underrated Joker. The personality of the Hamil one with a cooler design and actually has good fighting ability
I agree, I love Mark Hamil but I am biased towards Kevin Michael Richardson's Joker, I grew up watching The Batman, not the 90s animated series.

Mark Hamill is probably the best Joker voice in the history of all Batman. But Troy Baker does a good job replicating the voice Mark Hamill made so familiar
It's really wild how influential Mark Hamill's Joker has been. Even now, every single Joker since then has had a little bit of Mark Hamill in his performance, whether he's voiced by Mark or not.

BATMAN65 Big nod? It was a continuation! Adam West and Burt Ward were Batman and Robin again! Even got one of the Catwomen in, can't remember which. Like old times.
TheBlues32 I suppose you could look it at it as a continuation, maybe even an animated version (sequel?) and not just a tribute to the 1960's show. BTW, it was Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in seasons 1 &2, returning to voice Catwoman once again for this movie.
Because it's a continuation from Batman '66.
That's the point.

Mark Hamill is by far one of the greatest and most recognized voices of Joker. Seeing the behind the scenes of all his Joker lines is truly spine chilling. I feel many Jokers have tried to recreate that beautiful and perfect laugh. Some just copies, but those that gave it their own spin give me hope for the future of Joker's lovely voice.

Joker from the Redhood animation is one of the most scary at all.
He isn't playing any games, he just is incredible unpredictable.
The tone of the animation is also really dark, the confrontation Between Batman and Redhood is amazing, and it has an incredible twist involving Joker.
7:23 that was genuinely unnerving.
Kevin Michael Richardson is low key my favorite. I hear a human side to the character that I hear less in the other ones
Whatever joker mark hamill is voicing, I'm ALL for. He is the BEST joker voice!! That's not up for discussion, AT ALL!!
"Unless you're just one of the voices in my head, in that case I'm crazy anyway"
That is a great line
Honestly, I would love to give clips to people of Mark vs. Troy who know nothing about the cartoons and films staring them both as the joker, and make them decide between the two. Troy is truly my pick for the one who will carry on the voice of Joker since Mark retired it. What interested me in Troy's performance was when he read the Killing Joke monologue, somehow popping up under my recommended after watching the far cry 4 playthroughs when it first came out. Best impression to have been recorded yet in my opinion.
10:23 when your both too tired but still wanna fight.
