Onboard my first flight with TUI in several years onboard one of their 757's from Birmingham to the beautiful Aegean island of Skiathos. I've been meaning to go back to Skiathos for 5 years now to do some more incredible planespotting at the notorious airport. Always been put of flying with TUI as you can't choose your seats more than 90 days in advance and I prefer to choose my seat from a seat plan straight away to guarantee a good window seat.
So luckily on this flight at last minute an extra legroom seat became available and I decided to bite the bullet and pay the extra for a good window seat at 9A. Couldn't miss out on the opportunity to get a good view on a 757, my favourite single aisle aircraft!
Once airborne out of grey Birmingham and above the clouds some great air to air shots of various aircraft as well as airport spotting over Germany (FRA & MUC). Continuing over the Alps for some breathtaking views and onwards over the Adriatic. Descending over the coastline of Mainline Greece before arriving on RWY19 at Skiathos (from the north). So not the famous arrival over the road at JSI, but in from the other direction instead. Still some beautiful views during the last few moments of flight.
    FLIGHT DETAILS:
    Airline: TUI Airways UK
    Aircraft: Boeing 757-28A
    Reg: G-OOBB
    Age: 18 years
    Seat: 9A
    Departure Runway: 15
    Arrival Runway: 19
    Cruising Alt: 39,000ft (FL390)
    Flight Number: TOM7276
    Date: June 4th 2019
    Distance: 1,512 miles
    Route: BHX-JSI
Not a bad flight with TUI and quite impressive legroom in the extra legroom row. Rather dated cabin though it has to be said. Having said that one of the best sounding 757's I've been on. An incredible roar during that take off out of BHX!
Unfortunately I was sat in front of a group of people who seemed to think they knew everything about planes who you can probably hear during approach talking absolute rubbish, such as "that's the reverse gear to slow us down" - while the plane is still airborne... So ignore them.
As always by Full Flight I don't mean literally a near 4 hour video of nothing. I mean the video includes all stages of the flight.
    Thanks for watching!

I can understand why you would be put off with the select your seat i have always done it and ended up within the first 5 rows. My most recent trip BHX-RAK I was in seat 3F. What i recommend is as soon as you know your departure date, go back 90 days on your calendar and put a reminder on your phone for just after you wake up.
