    Just wanted you to know, I love watching Aviation videos. I enjoy the journey to my destinations, just as much as the destinations themselves. Your passion to share your videos of your travels, has kept me in positive spirits, threw my “Stay-At-Home” quarantine. Even if these videos have happened before COVID-19. Other CZcamsrs who blog their journeys have seem to stop, but you still continue to post great content. For this I thank you. And I’m looking forward to when I can resume my travels again.

    The "Muscle Jet". I typed in it back in 2003. It could do anything you wanted. Short runway or high DA? No problem. Need to slow way down to accommodate ATC? Still had very good manners. Had to punch out of an approach close to mins? Again...TOGA, pull the nose up 20 and still had to watch the speed. Single engine was never an issue regardless of weight either.

    Greetings from England! Another great vid, my last flight before lockdown was on a 757 from Portugal, Boeing should have kept the 757 and ditched the 737.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks my friend! I agree, the 757 should still be around. Boeing made a big mistake discontinuing it, which Airbus is currently capitalizing on with the A321XLR.

    What's the "OW" after the 757-200? I've never seen that designation before? 😂😊

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 8 měsíci +1

      It means the aircraft is equipped with extra life rafts in ceiling compartments. This allows some aircraft to fly longer distances over water without getting full ETOPS certification.

    • @robertalbertson889
      @robertalbertson889 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @sla31 oh wow! Okay I get it "OW" over water? I guess that's the meaning? Hahaha 😁 Thank you My friend! As usual, you're my aircraft/flight information guru.... God bless always 🙏 ❤️ See you Hopefully in Bacolod City Philippines 🇵🇭

    Why do you refer to the aircraft as "equipment" in the description?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 4 lety

      Because that's the term used in the airline industry to determine what aircraft type is being used. "What's the equipment type" for example.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 4 lety

      Well, as you know, sitting directly behind the wing is my preferred place to sit. However, considering this was an overnight redeye, and it was my hotel room for the night, I wanted a Delta comfort seat so I’d be a little more comfortable.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 4 lety +1

      I flew on a lot of 737-200s when I was younger. With United and Southwest primarily. But, I didn’t take pictures or video back then. And I didn’t keep track of what tail numbers. So I don’t really have any idea how many times I actually flew on them.
