Harrison Ford could have easily been a comedian actor and been absolutely great it's just something about his timing and the way he reacts to things he really knows how to say things without saying a word. The first time I was really blown away by Harrison Ford's acting was when I saw Regarding Henry. Before that, I'd just thought of him as an action hero type. In Regarding Henry, he plays a lawyer who gets shot twice when he walks in on a liquor store robbery, and one of the shots causes him to lose oxygen to his brain, and he gets a sort of selective amnesia and is in pretty bad shape. But Ford is SO realistic and convincing as he portrays a gunshot victim who slowly, and with great effort and support, starts to regain his memory and rejoin his former life. *That's* when I saw what a really fine actor Ford is, because it wasn't just whip-cracking Indiana Jones or space traveling Han Solo. Ford actually has great acting chops, and could escape being stereotyped.
