I think the Summer Glory is actually a crawler (at least, mine is showing that growth pattern)-it just doesn’t look like it until it grows in a little bit more!
Someone left a schefelera outside my friend's house, when she moved to the North Shore of Oahu. She left it there, it broke out of the pot, and 20 years later, the neighbor kids jumped out of it onto the trampoline! 😸
Sigh, I just bought a Sansevieria Pinguicula after watching you. This is the 3rd time I buy something you recommended... maybe I need to stop watching your videos, lol!
I just added the Pinguicula to my cart, Nick has inspired so many of plant purchases. Sometimes I just listen to videos instead of watching to control my temptation but show my support.
Where did you find it? I can't seem to find it anywhere
I feel ya.
I looked at the Shopping video at Gabriella Plants, have bought from them twice!!0
@@CinnaB33z I was very impressed with my plants from them! Healthy, pest free, hydrated 🌿
Shame I'm in the UK else is be using the websites Nik recommends. Any ideas welcome.
I haven’t watched your videos in a few weeks and omg I’ve missed you so much! The wish list has grown 🥰
Love the plant at 10:40. I own one of these already and would highly recommend them. Especially the black variegation.

Hey Nick, you never fail to come through. I truly appreciate your integrity and love of all plants. Between the 2 of us 😉, maybe we can get folks to appreciate the plant babies that don't get the love/ spotlight they deserve. It's thanks to you I became aware of, and now grow ALL the Pellonias!!! They are among my faves and easy peazy to grow! Peace Sis have a great week end!
Would you do a video of the self heading philodendrons.....I need those. Wasn't aware (😬) there was such. Thanks!!!!!!
Me waiting patiently for summer glory prices to come down. I spent $45 on a silver sword philo in the beginning of this year and now they're going for like $15 lol. lesson learned
I saw it for $9 today, now I regret not buying it.
The first one reminds me of mangrove trees- they say they “walk to water” - they put out babies in the direction of the ocean, making mangrove islands eventually 💚☀️
OMG!!!! I really want a Philodendron Summer Glory!!!!!
One of my fave Hoya!! Give her a cute trellis and she will take off!! 😍
I love my variegated sheffleria! I'm diggin that anthurium!
The Hipster anthurium lol
I love that fuzzy Hoya! 💚 WOW!
Wonderful. Love this and your Hoya is super. Slow growers for sure
You always show the best out of the ordinary suggestions, I’ve absolutely been looking for that S. Pinguicula and the A. poly (and the similar looking begonia 😍) since you first mentioned them.
That’s a super cool looking Hoya too, def just moved to the top of my Hoya wishlist along with the other veiny, dinosaur looking ones 😃
Thank you for sharing your amazing house plants beautiful lovely collection
Man I’ve been wanting a nova for a min but people want your arm, leg, first born and $180.
Happy weekend Nick! Thanks
Great selection and sound reasoning. Appreciate your time and effort to put forth interesting material with substance and a side of sass!
i want the begonia 😍😍😍
Love all these plants and your channel! Many thanks for sharing! 👌🪴🥰
So nice to watch your videos, your houseplants is amazing!!!💚🐞💚
Love you Nick!!! Always entertaining and informative! You crack me up😘
Just got a Summer Z glory and she is beautiful!!!!
Right now my favorite Hoya is my Shepardii. It is blooming!!! I am so excited!!!!
What a fabulous list, I can get behind all of those! I've vaguely wanted the begonia venosa, they don't pop up that much here (Australia) either, so hairy and cute! And love the other shaped anthuriums, I have; the balaoanum and Browneii...so adorable, balaoanum is SO underrated!!
that anthurium is like -wow. beautiful leaves!!
Thanks Nick, that was fun. I'm moving in a couple of weeks too. I'd appreciate any tips on moving 100+ houseplants.
I just got my summer glory yesterday 😅! We are on this new journey with them together 😬😄💙
hows it growing in? is it getting bigger
I love your videos, educational and joyous!
Hi Nick, never saw that “walking” sansereria! Very cool. I can’t buy anything fir a while because I was able to get a wishlist plant half price at a nursery going out of sale... Sansiviera ‘Coppertone’. It’s so unusual, and not seen too often. Sigh one off list, new one on-thanks Nick! You haven’t done a field trip w commentary on the plants you see at a nursery or big store in a while ....😊🌿🌱
Hey Nick, I saw your video you bought the summer glory at Gabriella plants and once I saw yours I had to grab my own. I love it. Thanks for the recommendation. 😀 Mine is growing out a leave also, waiting patiently for it to unfurl.
OMG Love them all
Love the summer glory !!!!! Also… ps. I totally wish we were bff’s in real life. (Totally not a stage 5 clinger - so no worries, just a huge fan 😊). The first video I watched of yours was about watering air plants ( I think 🤔), anyway, I immediately purchased a fabulous continuous mister !!!!! Sweet hook up Nick. Such great info. Keep the videos coming !!!
Hi Nick, your enthusiasm for plants is contagious :)
What is that plant that you have behind you, by your right shoulder? It looks like a rosary with elongated beads. Such a cool plant.
Hi Nick! I like, and want, all of those plants now. The Sansevieria Pinguicula don't seem to readily available. They are pretty cool/freaky looking. I love my schefflera plants, so really like the anthurium polystichum. The Peperomia campylotropa is so darn cute! I like plants with little leaves. The Hoya globulosa is so different looking from the more "common hoyas. I like the venation, too. I think the Philodendron "Summer Glory" would get too big for my space, and someone commented below that they are a crawler in mature form, so definitely no room for it. Thank you for another fun video. Hi Muffin!
I loooove that begonia how it’s reminiscent of a peperomia, I will put that on my wish list lol
Absolutely love your videos. How long do you leave plants you purchase online in their nursery pots before repotting? Thank you.
I have and love Anthurium that resemble Schefflera. I just like plants that look like weeds. Probably because I grew up in the Bronx and they remind me of the weeds! I never liked Hoya or Begonia for some reason although I do have a retusa and linearis probably because they remind me of weeds! LOL Another great video Nick! You are such a lovely person and your plant passion is infectious!
Beautiful plants, especially the "Muffin" one. Where can I get me one of those? Lol 😸
It’s a crawler for sure mines going like that at least
Hey Nick! Just wanted to drop in and let you know about the growth pattern of Summer Glory. I asked Shane from Gabriella Plants and he said the plant is a crawler in mature form. I think it only seems self heading because its still in its immature petiolar growth stage. Mine is also in that stage which is why I asked them what type of growth to expect (since tbh I don't lover self-heading growth).
That is some great info, thank you for sharing! That’s very exciting 😄
STOP, I've been thirsting over the Summer Glory 😭🥵 It's a Gloriosum x McColley's Finale (where it gets the growth pattern) if I remember correctly! Hoping to find a new job soon so I can snag one before it gets cold here.
Gabriellas plants has it on sale right now btw
wow - a walking sanseiveria! who knew?!?!?! very cool...
Cool plants! I really like the Begonia venosa; it looks so alien!
It really does 👽
Wow! Great plants!!!🍃💚🌱💚 with all your beauties do you ever have any mildew problems, caused by the humidity from the plants? I read about it, that it can happen🤤Omg that Globulosa is gorgeous 😍😍😍😍
I want one of those walking sansevierias so bad!
Thank you Nick for todays video. I’m gonna use that steve’s leaves code next month once I cool off. I really like that begonia, I’ve added it to my list! 💚😎💚
I have some amazing begonias- I love them. Most are from Steve’s leaves online if it’s ok to say that… WAIT WHAT? A discount code?? See ya later 🤣💚💚
@@annacostello5181 I live in Las Vegas, so getting plant mail is fickle because it can be 85 one day and 101 the next, unexpectedly even(because I’m getting plant mail 🙄) so I get cooked plants 🪴 😭
@@Miles_Hoffman I’m in the hills of Pennsylvania (they call them mountains but…🤣)here so my begonias do well at room humidity in summer. It rarely gets into the 90s and it’s mostly cloudy.
That is a weird Begonia!! 😍
Hi Nick, what are the lamps you are using in de shelving behind you? Do they come with a timer?
Oh my where can I get one of those Sansevierias
my hoyas are so slow growing too! I can't figure them out.
Thank you Nick enjoy your videos that ( walking plant) is interesting I had never heard of it maybe its just me but it's a little freaky to me lol I could imagine walking in the kitchen and its walking around making coffee or something sorry
I have a wild imagination lol
When your houseplant develops legs and tries to escape! :D
💚
Does the Steve's Leaves code only work for your first purchase there? I was checking out a second time and it wouldn't work. Just checking and clarifying for others so they won't make the mistake I did and split up their order lol! Thanks for all you do!
One time. Nick mentions this in another video.
@@nubbyrose87 I’ve never seen a video that says that, I wish I had! I didn’t get the whole order at once and sure wish I had gotten the more expensive ones with the code but maybe someone else will see my comment and benefit lol! Happy to have gotten the money off that I did save though :))
Anyone try begonias in leca? I killed all mine in soil but I'm stubborn and want some lol
Just amend your soil for Begonias. I once killed them too, but then I learned to add perlite and orchid mix to the soil. They are thriving now. All of mine get filtered morning sunlight.
@@kimsmith8219 yeah they had perlite in the soil I just could never figure them out the leaf edges were always crisping/wilting. I was thinking leca would add more humidity like a pebble tray they recommend
💚🌿
Nick
Why don't you start making cuttings of your plants and sell them. It's extra money.
My Hoyas grow so. slow. 🙄
Ever since I saw you on plant on me with Ms. Summer, I like the way you show your plant because I’m learning about them and I’m glad that you’re showing these plants. I’m becoming a bit better house plant parent ( a beginner that’s). 🪴
💚
