The ‘Summer Glory’ is a rare hybrid mixed between an unnamed McColley Philodendron hybrid x Philodendron Gloriosum. 🪴

I saw a 6” today and it was Amazing. All the leaves but one were PINK! It was $65. So I left it there. But, I found your channel because I looked it up, cause I can’t stop thinking about it. I got bit hard by that plant bug!! It was gorgeous. Wish I could share a picture. Also wish I hadn’t just spent so much on plants, or I would go get it tomorrow!! It’s. Probably the prettiest plant I have ever seen,. That’s saying a lot. 😊

I just got one at Lowe's today, and the girl thought the new colored leaf was looking 'bad' and someone had snagged the ceramic pot off it, and they sold it to me for a whopping 7.99!!!

I have one being shipped in the mail as you speak! It was only $24.99....crazy how you just featured yours....I also ordered a Gloriosum Zebra...something like thst..it has more prominant white stripes...and as you said Gloriosum is such easy care that I thought yes to getting a little bit different one :)....I already have too the Mcollies....it would be exciting if they crossed gloriosum with the dark dark leaf philos! I am sure one day....I know I will love the Summer Glory! Have a nice day

I’m so bummed! Just found one on clearance for $4.50 it needed a bit of rescuing but nothing drastic. Change of soil and cutting off a few leaves. Didn’t get it because I thought it was a difficult one, to take care of. Now I want it. 😅

hah me too! didn’t pick it up at first because i wasn’t sure it was even a philodendron but i just went back today and sure enough, it was still there. it was the only one they had and i felt like it was meant to be at that point

Do you think it can be kept in a single pot forever? I don't want plants that grow up or sideways

I got one in the mail and two of the leaves are yellowing/browning but not crispy. No pests. Any suggestions to if its normal or something wrong?
Probably normal! :) they don’t seem like they would ship easily, but once it acclimates to your space, it should start to push out new leaves. 🪴🙃🪴
