@carlettabenjamin9652, Steve Schmidt was talking about this recently. He said you cannot and should not restrict speech with laws but you should loosen up libel laws so they can be sued for making defamitory statements.

I was falsely accused twice. (I did social work for mentally challenged people.) The first time, it took the judge 45 minutes to close the whole thing down. The second time everyone was trying very hard to NOT put the accuser in jail for perjury, which would have done no good for anyone. It took 2 days to find a way to wrap up the chaotic presentations, and it was done with dignity and respect. Trump's inventing his own problems - and America is better than he says.
I respect Ari Melber a great deal; he presents everything in a clear and forthright manner. I'm not certain how journalism is done now for these stories, but the investigative and writing aspects are very well done, and very well presented.
