Agreed, we were left on a massive cliffhanger.
I would love to see how colonization of Africa and Asia goes in this timeline.

Question: Considering the Portuguese royal family ran away to Brazil in real life, does Brazil become a Portuguese Taiwan in this timeline?
Yes, or, if the British habe the same fate, Canada would be British taiwan
It just ends up like it did irl but with slightly worse leadership for longer because Pedro I is monarch for longer
@@minestar2247 no, because I guess the USA annex canada
Portugal and the United States will probably finance the independence of the countries of Spanish America, Furthermore, Portugal would become the last bastion of Christianity on the planet
@@brabius2695 probably not, most of the Geneva convention was created because canadian did it
Napoleon cannon: Theres nothing we can do....
Napoleon Possible History: Theres something we can do
Well, he did do a lot of things during his reign
theres everything we can do
5:58 The Continental System would work great as a trade bloc. Napoleon could establish a free trade zone within the bloc, and then establish high (but tolerable) tariffs for the Continental System. With one little carve out: France can have slightly lower tariffs, so that trade gets funneled to their ports.
The blockade of Britain never worked, and even during the wars, France traded massively with Britain (most French soldiers wore British boots), so may as well steer into the skid. Or, if this is implemented during the Peace of Amiens, the following wars could be averted entirely.
Good idea, but maybe we should make it so that Russia has no tariffs as well. It's less likely with this system, but Russia still poses a huge threat and should have its needs met.
The Brexiteers finally made this work.
"most French soldiers wore British boots"
False, or I want sources.
La Grande Armée was supplied by the "grande cordonnerie de Strasbourg" the same usine that provided the French 100k new boots from Boulogne to Austerlitz.

Something I adore about your videos compared to other alt history creators is that you remember that no great power is ever going to be idle and allow someone else to expand if they dont want it to, little things like giving Austria Silesia or Russia a slice of Poland go a long way to keeping the crucial detail in mind
That and remembering that just because someone is more competent doesn't mean they can work miracles, the French weren't going to magically invade the isles because a few battles went better, Britain spent centuries building their naval hegemony
I can't believe you didn't even mention Napoleon's attempted invasion of Haiti. He himself counted it as one of his 3 biggest mistakes, on par with invading Spain and Russia !
Omg, yeah! I forgot, this needs to be mentioned in the sequel. 👍🏽
because it wasnt important. It isn't even close to the same loss in men and resources as Spain and Russia.
Yea, if he didn't invade either of these three countries he wouldn't have been dethroned.
Hati was already a French colony I wouldn’t call it an invasion and as others have said it was quite unimportant comparatively
@@krisp1871 maybe not as important as european theatre but it did generate a lot of wealth for france when it still was a colony
Loved the vid, I definitely want a sequel. This video is less what if, more HOW everything could've gone perfectly for Napoleon.
I want to actually see more of the 'what if' part of scenario, because I'm very interested in that.

Napoleon's death is inevitable, how would fate of Europe be after him
Seeing Russia expand at the price of Prussia is pretty funny too me. Russia was an important member of the 4th Coalition against Napoleon, yet after losing hard to Napoleon they not only barely get punished, but get rewarded with not only Finland, but also with Polish land.
Napoleon did seem to have a thing for Alexander.
@@gengarzilla1685 they even kissed
@@gengarzilla1685 you probably know of the quote, but Napoleon wrote to Josephine after Tilsit, saying: “If Alexander were a woman, I would make him my mistress."
"Bit of a weird thing to say to your wife, Napoleon."
I wouldn't say that Russia lost hard, or at all
You never fail to disappoint, really like your scenario, maybe even more than my own!

Slight error at 4:02 Louis XVI (16th) not XIV (14th) lol, since the latter died nearly a century earlier. I blame the French for only naming their kings one thing, it makes it really confusing. Still a great video!
For a moment I wasn't sure whether I skipped a whole century in my mind there
Came here to say this
Make a video on what if the Ottomans were Christian.
So... What if Byzantium survived?

Day 3 of: What if history went PERFECT for Poland?
Poland reconquers the Constantinople and they're called the New Roman Empire, conquering Muslim Rome, German Rome, and Russian Rome
@@anadaere6861ik it's a joke, but it actually kinda makes sense, starting with the crusade of 1444 and the battle od Varna
Already planned for february (one for the polish-lithuanian commonwealth too)
Wladislav, he was so CLOSE, but it was not to be. Fate have it that Rome will die for the last time

Now wait for an angry tall man to appear at your door saying some weird nonexistent Words and there you have summoned a Dutchman
You mean you have summoned a Belgian in revolt.

I need a deeper exploration into this scenario. What will be of south-east Asia? What's the situation in the Spanish's American empire? What about Napoleon's 3rd biggest mistake in Haiti? How will the Americans react? How does Prussia go forward without Silesia?
I swear this could become my favorite videos of yours.
I know the idea is quite broad on what time it could happen for it to occur, but I think it would be a really fun video if you were to make a "What if everything went perfect for Poland" as the Poles have had so many opportunities to become a major power in Europe.
There are two big times I can think of for it to occur, those being either in 1439 to 1444 where the Kingdom of Hungary had fallen into the hands of King Władysław III of Poland who was also the Supreme Duke of Lithuania who, after a treaty between Hungary and the Ottoman Empire had been signed, decided to break the treaty in order to save Byzantium and to push the Ottomans out of Europe. At that time the Ottomans were in high political turmoil and was on the brink of self collapse and, if the Battle of Varna had succeeded, might just have. This would have left King Władysław III to rule Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, and even Bohemia!
The other best time to largely expand Poland was in 1592 to 1618 when the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth had made a union with Sweden and then just six years later tried to take over Russia who was in the worst possible position to be in such a war, but against most odds and with some help from Sweden, Russia had survived. If however if before the the war the Commonwealth had managed to secure its union with Sweden Russia would have been in an even worst situation than in our timeline to fend of the Polish onslaught.
I know these are pretty big subjects to do a video on and that there are probably many variables I do not know or understand, but still think this would be a pretty cool idea for a video nonetheless.
I have always wanted a video like that I have seen a couple of CZcamsrs do that I would also really like a what if everything went perfect for Canada sinarrio there are also a lot of opportunities for it to become a great power
I don't really see how Napoleon can avoid giving the Polish people something, they were among his strongest supporters outside of France to begin with and there WAS international sympathy for Poland that carried over even into the Congress of Vienna. Not to mention one of his most famous mistresses was Polish.... I'd say more lenient terms in getting the Austrians on his side like in OTL without the Invasion of Spain seems more feasible.
That would still alienate Prussia and Russia and probably Austria too
Your right, but the countries he’s curriering favor from aren’t among that list, giving the lands to Austria and Russia would do much better in a pragmatic sense to keep them off Napoleons back.
Perhaps Napoleon could make a small Polish state in between the Austrian seized lands and Prussia?
@@jerm70 Again it would make him lose his allies or anger them at the very least
2:55 WE AINT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING WITH THIS ONE 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’d really like a sequel. Also “What if Napoleon was killed by a nest of rabbits?”
6:54 There were spanish admirals like Churruca or Gravina, who were considered competent and had experience fighting and even beating the british in the seas, however that would need to make the french accept a spanish leading the battle and it sounds impossible for Napoleon to let any other country give orders to a french officer
As with the Perfect Central Powers timeline, I think you might be able to put together a continuation for this altered postwar world. The USA will inevitably dream of Manifest Destiny if Spain were to still lose control of their American holdings while Brazil has just become Portugal's Taiwan by way of the defeated Portuguese monarchy setting up shop there after being cast from the mainland.
That was awesome! A sequel would be very welcome :)
There is something we can do credit to possible history
I would definitely love to see a continuation of this scenario. Thanks for the video!

Reading first words: ah yes I like cu-

The sequel videos/continuing what happens after are the best videos, sure they turn into a fantasy scenario but that's fine
9:54 - as an Austrian, this is oddly extremely satisfying.
Video idea: what if the Tokugawa Shogunate won the Boshin war
This is a great video. However, another aspect that I believe could be expanded on is an outright proposal by the French to partition the Ottoman Empire with Austria and Russia, at least its European and Caucasian territories, perhaps expanding French interests in North Africa. Whether this proposal could be outright conquests or spheres of influence of the region. It would be an interesting way for Napoleon to try and satisfy his continental allies/rivals, while also breaking Great Britains influence. This conflict would likely be more difficult in certain fronts than expected, but I'm certain they would try to capitalize on Secessionist and Rebel movements in the Ottoman's European territories, and would still be a sledgehammer that would likely either kill the Ottoman Empire or reduce it to almost WW1 borders. Constantinople would likely lead to a great deal of tension among the powers of Europe and could lead to future negotiation and conflict.
Of course, I want a part 2 !
4:01. I think you made a mistake there: Louis XIV died in 1715 while Talleyrand was born in 1754. You probably wanted to write Louis XVI instead of Louis XIV.
Talleyrand was notorious for being the first Ouija board user to commune with deceased monarchs
it all makes sense now! @@cadmus204
Absolutely
No Poland, No fun
4:00 Louis XIV or XVI ? Because a carreer of 130 years for Talleyrand is a bit too long in my opinion
This Video could end in seconds:
“Napoleon, Was born taller” now its prefect for napoleon
you only need 20 seconds or smth in this way
What would this imply about Peter the Great?
You've been on fire lately, topics been nice and lots of contents!
You know it's a good day when possible history releases a video :D

I'd like to see an alternate history from 1812 if Napoleon gave up on the continental system and made peace with Britain, just as the Americans declare war on Britain without yet knowing that now Britain was now free to give the American war so much more attention. I could see President Madison trying to take-back-sies on the declaration of war as a much better supported General Sir Isaac Brock moved down from Niagara and Tecumseh and an Indian Confederation moved down from Michigan, as a fresh army newly imported from Britain moved down from Quebec.
LETS GOOOOO
I’ve been excitedly waiting for this
I already love the reference at "there's nothing we can do" meme in the thumbnail
Great video. Yes would love to see a continuation.
The Poles, Napoleon's most loyal allies, ended up being thorns in his back. What an irony...
True😔
Eh more he's being overly optimistic abut how loyal Austria, Prussia, and Russia would be, and ignoring the simpler solution to just have Napoleon pull back sooner and winter in Poland. Long term Poland and expanding it into a buffer state would be more valuable than hoping Russia, Austria, and Prussia stay loyal.
But giving Silesia to Austria will harm Prusso-Austrian relations, preventing a coalition to rise again
Expanding a buffer state poland is just what he did in real life, we all know how it ended
@@wikiacount8697 That was not a complete buffer state.
Yooo thats so cool that you released this video today xD

What if the Mongols didn't die from infighting, but instead from their former vassals becoming into powerful states that had a vendetta against them instead? Ming China and Tsarist Russia come to mind, but also the Mughals of India and the Mamluks of Egypt
I really love your content
As far as I know, some Poles warned Napoleon against invading Russia proper. According to them, it would stop after capturing the Smolensk Gate, thus giving the opportunity to resurrect the Commonwealth in a republican shape on the Baltic-Black Sea bridge. After a few years, you could try to attack St. Petersburg and the decapitation of tsarism.
Yay, you did my scenario!

A sequel to this would be amazing bro
What about sending general Moreau to America, not in exile, but as a governor-general? Moreau had talent comparable to Napoleon and he could turn the tide there, while being far from France as "the only real opponent" of the first consul. The same as with Talleyrand - they didn't like each other, but he could be more helpful and loyal
when im bored i put on one of your videos and instant entertainment Great Work PH!!

Yes, please a continuation, like in the central powers one
A sequel would be great, this might be my favourite “What if everything went perfect?” video so far
Its so good having a good alt history channel
What if history went perfect for Poland?
An italian youtuber made a video about the Napoleon's victory, and that it was in the realm of realistic possibilities.
I don't remember the french names, but he named some admirals and politicians that costed him the war and he should have them fired, and he named better people than napoleon should have gave more power and trust.
Anyway he said the same thing about the naval battles grinding for a victory in the long run.
He added about supporting the irish and push them to revolts and send them supplies at every opening.
He said that instead of invading russia, he should have used that huge army for the fully military occupation of Spain and Portugal, to stop the guerrillas to receive information and supplies from UK.
Reinforced a new polish nation in the east and enforced loyalty in Scandinavia to better cut of Russia from UK.
Remove the nationalists from the french government that pushed for french protectionism and united all the european markets in a common custom union to make them trade preferentially along themselves than with UK.
In his idea he would have won, with a friendly rhine conferederation, Poland and Italy helping keeping in check Prussia and Austria.
Ottomans and Russia would only be forced to adapt this new reality because they would never be able to gather the forces to fight.
Spain and Portugal would be re aligned with time.
Ireland revolts would give the last support needed for an invasion of UK after years.
am curious what a "what if" episode would be like for Romania itself, seeing that it's history has been rough and has had to seek continuous support and recognition that have been awarded with what was WW1 and later on the Soviet Puppet regime it had...
A continuation would be great!
I have a idea: What if Spain wasnt betrayed by France? (Napoleonic wars)

The best way to discribe Talleyrand : Vous êtes de la m*rde dans un bas de soie ! - Napoléon Ier
Prussia without Silesia and without gains in Northern Germany would be majority Polish. I don't think so it would be beneficial for Prussia.
It wouldn't be majority polish, but there would almost certainly be a polish uprising at some point that Russia would be interested in.....
