Thanks for always being transparent and honest! I’m definitely the girl with no fat to have a bbl done 😞 but I’ll rock what I got 💪 plus a fat embolism is a scary thought.
The surgery is a lot less risky than it once was. Surgeons now stay over the muscle injecting fat instead of under the muscle, which makes the surgery more safe. Also, you can drink boost plus or boost very high calorie between meals (don’t skip meals) and you will gain fat fast. This is how I did it. However, you don’t want to gain more weight than you want to keep on after surgery. If you lose weight after surgery, you can lose some of the transferred fat. Also keep in mind they can only take out 4 or 5 liters of fat at once, which is equivalent to about 10 lbs or so.

Dear Dr. Barret, if I get a BBL and after the postop period I excercise at the gym with some glute -leg - hip routine , will the fat that you transfered will be afected? Thanks!
you should build your glutes so it will probably look even better.

Hii Dr. Barrett!! ill be 1 month post op on the 12th, my job consist of sitting for 12 hours and I'm terrified. Currently at work and I've been standing for 4 hours 😬. What do you recommend?
Also i did buy the bbl pillow just don't want to over use.. could be over thinking considering it will be a month soon...
I instruct my patients not to sit for 2 solid weeks. We provide them a specialized pillow that our patients can sit on during that time. They can sleep on their stomachs or sides.
Fat viability depends a lot of surgeon technique. The fat has to be placed back into the buttocks as soon as possible so that it has a greater chance of survival. It has to be placed carefully so that not too much fat is placed in only one area.
I’m 3 weeks post op and I have to work 12hrs as well .. I don’t have to sit if I don’t want to but I don’t think I can stand for 12 hrs I’m gonna be too tired so a bit worried of what I can do 😕 . I don’t want to use the bbl pillow to much

I just got a mini bbl and right after surgery I noticed like a hard firm maybe lump and restricts my leg from going up and does feel pretty sore. I went to see my Dr today he felt it and said I even had a bruise. He stood a needle in to see if it was oil or infection but nothing came out he did send me home with a pack on my cheek and will remove it tomorrow. He has only done 100 bbls and wanted to ask you if this was normal to feel sore that I can't even bent down?
How did it go?? What was it...those tend to be normal and go away from what I've heard

I’m 2 weeks post op and not gonna lie I’ve been sitting on a boppy pillow since night of surgery and sleeping on my side since a few nights ago. Everything is softening up already but hopefully I don’t lose my results too much. Bbl pillow is extremely uncomfortable for me and sits me up too high I can’t fit in my car. I already had a big booty so if I lose some volume from sitting I won’t be too upset as long as it’s not weirdly shaped

@@Gs-wu1rj I’m still fine. Out of surgery I was 54” and now I’m 53” sitting doesn’t do anything it’s a myth. I sat right on my butt for hours everyday and nothing happened. 3 month post op now. Slept on my sides starting at 2 weeks po. Stopped “feeding the fat” at 2 weeks because I realized how stupid it sounded. So around 2 weeks I stopped believing the nonsense 😂

Hi Dr Barrett I got my surgery done on June 9th and on the 15th I went to my sons graduation sat on hard bleachers and driving without a pillow for 2 1/2 hours will this affect my results?

it shouldn't affect your BBL results. But you should check postoperative protocols with your surgeon.
