    I bought my 2014 Mazda in 2016 and I still drive it. It hasn’t dropped my Bluetooth that much over the years but because of this video, I (a young woman) am able to fix my myself every time. Thank you so much for this super helpful and explanatory video. It is truly appreciated.

    Thanks brother! Yeah this is another issue with this model, along with the radio not turning off problem after the car is turned off. Mazda has it almost ready for a recall but won't do it! They rather charge us $600 to replace the shifter sensor which cost $50.00.

    Thanks for the very kind explanation, my car is a 2014 Mazda6. The bluetooth connection works great, the music works great, the radio works great. The problem is that when I talk on the phone, the person on the other end says they can't hear me very well. If this is the case, do I need to replace the microphone? And where is the microphone located?

  • @ElliotWORLD

    Great fix! I have a 2014 CX9 GT. The "infotainment" center with a screen smaller than many cell phones is among the worst out there (even for the time) Moreover, when it works it takes about Two minutes for the Bluetooth to load, synch, and start playing after ignition. It is overall a great vehicle. Because of this after many miles I'm going to swap it out. Even the most basic budget system would be better than what it came with.

    Thanks. I just removed the connection to my negative post on the battery. Reconnected the battery and it solved my problem. Mazda was going to charge me $200.00 for a diagnosis.

    Hey thanks so much for that. I appreciated the explanation about the positive terminal on the battery too because I’ve never touched the battery on my car before. Cut my finger in the price of removing the nut on the negative lead but that’s certainly not anything to do with your tutorial. Jumped back in the car and all of a sudden everything works again. Really great. Thank you. Lara

      Yeah so many online tutorials are like this, just so much rambling and dilly dallying. Get to the point man we're all here for one reason.
      Although my Mazda3 doesn't have a touch screen display like that, but I've got the same issue. Typical for all bluetooth really - you try to stop the car reconnecting automatically to the bluetooth (cause you want to use headphones ir something), and then you're never able to reconnect again.
      I even unpaired them but now they don't pick up at all. When I first paired them it was quick and easy so I don't think anything's broken.
      I wonder if this wilk work

    have a 2016 cx5 and it has constant issues with bluetooth. it either shows the song time elapsing but is silent, or it is perpetually 0:00 with no option to press play. it always does this. it can be every five minutes on and off, once here and there, or stuck broken for weeks. currently experiencing the latter. id say i have under 50% usage on my music. also worth noting its apple music which also has issues but in the car issues are different than lets say in the gym issues. i believe i have an issue with the cars bluetooth AND apple music freezes too.

  • @normkeller2405
    @normkeller2405 Před 2 lety

    Good tips.
    An alternative is to unpair and to repair the Bluetooth Device(s).
    When I have had this problem, I've begun by disconnecting the battery, and when that didn't solve, to unpair and to repair.
    IDK if simply unpair and pair will solve without disconnecting.
    Retired auto tech so the battery disconnect is much quicker.

It lasted 2 ignition cycles and was dead again. You need a new bluetooth module. This is a waste of time unless you like disconnecting the negative cable a lot and having to re-set everything.
