- By request… sometimes, you may get a delay between the video and audio feed. Switching off the CarPlay or Android Auto and just using the phone as a media player should do the trick

And here I’m watching this with delayed audio lol
Okay, now that’s funny!
X2
Same here I’m in a 2018 Corolla tho 💀

Idk why everyone always wants to point out you shouldn’t be doing that. There’s lots of reasons. Kids watching, parked on lunch and want to watch TV, waiting to pick someone up. Etc.
It’s not just the audio/visual delay; if you hit pause or rewind 10 seconds there’s a delay there too. That’s more of an issue
well sometimes I’m sitting in my car and want watch something, also directions delayed by 2 seconds is annoying
5 seconds delay on my altima 22 😢
You have provided an alternative way to connect not fixing the issue.
Nice work my man! Fixed the lag. There are many reasons to watch videos in the car. IMO there is no excuse for audio and video to be out of sync…
Why when I’m listen to the radio or xm. If I go to another app, the car will switch to Bluetooth on the phone. Sometimes once I’m out of the app the music will come back on. Other times it will not and it will not.
OK so I called one dealership and they told me it’s normal for Bluetooth. However I had two cars previously without this huge delay. I called a second dealership and he suggested turning off CarPlay, while leaving Bluetooth on, which worked!🤩The delay is no longer ~2 seconds, it’s more like 0.5 seconds now which is excellent!
Yeah but now I can’t use CarPlay for Apple Maps and stuff automatically and I have to switch it back😭
How do you do it in a challenger RT 2023?
Why the heck didn’t he say how he got to that screen? I’ve been spending 10 minutes here trying to figure out what that screen is, is it settings? Definitely not a good tutorial, everything else was good but I still can’t actually fix this problem unless I know where to go specifically.
Watching this with an audio delay😂
Perfect, this worked. Thank you :)
This works !!!! Goto device manager and press music and phone !!!! And it’s perfect 👍
Not me driving while watching this with audio delay trying to figure out how to fix the delay
Good to know. Thanks for your knowledge.
I’m in park and I use my speaker why is there a delay
Holy shit, I do security at night and watch stuff sometimes, and this helped immensely!
Doing that knocks you off of Android Auto and I lose my ability to use my cellphone navigation
They really just need to fix this stupid wireless Apple CarPlay. I think it’s a Honda issue because my friend has a Honda HR-V with wired CarPlay and no lag. My other friend has a ford raptor with wireless CarPlay and no lag either. This shits so annoying
Am I the only one that watches movies in the car on a huge tablet for the surround sound??
Thank you!!
Thank you. My sons thank you too.
I use bluetooth and theres roughly a 2 second delay in both vehicles when watching a video on lunch so i just give up and use my phone speakers.
I’m watching this while driving
It matters when you’re listening to Spotify and you press next and you wait a second or two before you hear the track.
Me while watching. This video while driving 😂
As I'm watching this while driving to the post office
I have the opposite problem my audio is somehow ahead of the video LMAO
It's working but disconnects your CarPlay. You cannot use your CarPlay navigation.
That’s correct. CarPlay didn’t allow video format in their system. This is a work around so you can at least hear the audio without delay
Me watching this video while driving hahaha
I have an aftermarket pioneer NEX on my tundra and Apple car play with ZERO lag. Now my new truck is a GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate with Bose sound system and with Apple car play or using my mid’s galaxy s21 there’s still a delay.
Point blank: it’s not your phones, it’s the vehicle. These asswipe car manufacturers can’t get even the basics right.
Cliche im watching it delayed this is too funny lol
I watched this while driving
Me, watching this video with a delay, while driving inside of a new Kia:
Yeah, why would anybody watch a CZcams video while driving? If that’s so unsafe, like who does that?!
this dude is blitzed 100! lmao
Your solution did not work. The lag is the same after switching from CarPlay to Bluetooth
Swallow your safety concerns 😂. I hear different statements about this. The first one is carplay having compatibility issues with some devices but car play is already taking necessary steps for this by launching updates. However if you have an older device you are going to be left behind on updates. Second. And the one I think I have a problem with. I have a device that has Bluetooth 5.0 and my vehicle has an older Bluetooth version there for I have connectivity issues and latency playing the videos also.
Hey genius. People can also be parked and watch videos while in the car.
Dude you are criticizing someone watching video while driving in a video you made while driving 🤣
are you cheech or chong?
GM and Chevy are pathetic. It’s ALL their vehicles. Well at least in my dad’s C8 corvette and my Sierra 3500. Bluetooth works fine but when you either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, there is a nasty 2 second audio lag. My previous Tundra never did this.
Holy shit it only Toyota made HD trucks, they’d put these other clown truck manufacturers out of business, easy.
Thanx for waisting my time dude.
I watched this video while driving 😂 with a delay
It’s because there is sound coming through sound then blue tooth ..hits three things before your ears
