You explained it well! Without even trying it, I think I’ve made my decision 😂
😂🤣😂 thank you girl. You know imma keep honest.
you may not have noticed on the new packaging, they do NOT state that it is NON-GMO,,, so i am going to assume that it contains GMO!
I didn’t catch that. Thank you. To be honest, I haven’t got it since this post.
@@FrobulousVeggies i emailed them, and they responded and let me know the product is still non gmo, they just have not had the time to update the packaging. So all is good!
@pugmanplays thank you for checking into it further! At least we can have peace of mind about that.
I've never had the ground round but bought the newly formulated patties with avocado oil as it was on sale and it tastes much better..ironically, it smells too much like meat.. I had to put the fan on...I am not a vegetarian nor a vegan but I am open to trying many new 'foods'.. I highly recommend Abbotts Kitchen, which has very clean ingredients ( plant based ground chicken, beef and chorizo) BTW- Your beautiful green shirt goes with avocado!
Thank you! That’s so interesting how that can happen with product offerings. If the patties aren’t bad, I may not count the new avocado formula out completely.
Can you do a tier list ranking of your favorite mock meats 😊😊
That may be a little tough to choose lol, but I think I can narrow it down. Are you thinking a Top 5 list including all varieties (deli slices, beefless, and chik’n)?
@@FrobulousVeggies yes please 😊
@johnnyarellano7653 cool, that will be my next Test Tuesday video after this week’s review 😊
I would never eat it unseasoned and without bread for a burger or with pasta or other stuff 😂 but I want to try it..
😂🤣 I feel you. Unseasoned was not it
Hi! Looking at the package, the meat looks mashed. I wonder if that's from the avocado oil.
It was very mushy compared to Impossible and looked just like cat or dog food. I was so put off. I tried the burgers but they were too dry and didn't taste as good as the old one because they're missing those coconut oil balls. I've been buying as many of the old burgers that I can find and freezing them.
Hey! Yes, the meat it was definitely mush fresh out the pack lol
lol it did give that texture for sure. Thank God it didn’t stay that way once it cooked. However, I’m going to stick to my other meatless options after trying this one.
I'm not a fan of the Beyond Ground, I like the Impossible better. However, with that being said, if this Avocado Oil one having a Garlicy Onion taste I may prefer it better. I may have to try it! 🤔🤔
I’m going to start using the Impossible Ground. You’re the third person who mentioned it.
@FrobulousVeggies I truly believe you would like it better!! I believe I will just stick with the Impossible. Haven't seen the new Beyond in my area yet.
2.5 for me
I haven’t purchased it since I reviewed it.
Looks like I'm going to stick with Impossible. The new Beyond seriously looks exactly like Fancy Feast! I'm not convinced coconut oil is even that bad for you. All the "research" is so utterly biased it's not even funny. Like they found that eating dairy fat does not increase risk of heart disease... COMPARED TO a diet high in refined starches and sugars, lots of red meat, and very low fiber. Whereas coconut oil increases cholesterol... COMPARED TO a vegan diet where most of the fat is from olive oil, nuts, and seeds. It's like all those old studies where they intentionally made sure that one group was all smokers, other group all non-smokers, depending on which group they want to be magically 100x healthier than the other one.
I agree, all the comparison studies can be a lot. So many conflicting directions. I try my best to follow what truly makes sense and how my body feels after consuming things. I think I want to try the new Impossible Chik’n items next.
@@FrobulousVeggies I agree 100% about eating what makes you feel good. I started having some incredibly foul belches that lasted hours, within 15 minutes of consuming any kind of high-fat dairy, after getting Corona (I've met a lot of people who have developed animal product intolerances because of that, it's weird!), which was what finally pushed me to go full vegan.
Coconut oil has absolutely never done anything like that to me at all. And it doesn't put me to sleep like animal fat, either!
Also, which new Impossible chicken are you thinking of trying? All I can find is some kind of new panko-breaded nugs that are only available in a couple places.
Isn't this ultra processed food
I would consider it processed. Sadly a lot of our foods are technically processed these days. I try to create balance with fresh fruits and veggies where I can.
Natural flavor can be anything I hate that one ingredient 😢
Right. That always gets me.
You seem like a very nice young woman. Please do not eat that.
Thank you. I don’t plan on purchasing this one again.
😂🤣😂
