I began forensic psychology [masters degree] but the crocs forced me to give up...still I will know the lies when I hear them..
Crime is a very subjective concept. This is because laws are different from country to country and these same laws change over time.
you sound like a criminal
blabla62871 you sound like an introvert
DJ_BEANZz You sound like you an extrovert.
Team introvert.
Only teologic law dont change, because their came from God,human lawd arent law but rules for a fue time.
Not all crimes are subjective. Like murder, rape, fraud etc
if someone has this book in pdf, then please share the link or suggest where to download it.thanks
You can look on pdfdrive they have a lot of books on there
This video is of interest to me, because I have criminals in my community. Some jerk stole my computer and cell phone.
Did you get it back? Lol
I just bought the book
Is crime really falling though? Or just becoming more and more complex?
I would say it would be a bit of both. The society we live and set rules or laws in is rapidly changing so what we define as a crime and punishable is becoming more complex. It could also be that what used to be defined crime is being prevented due to awareness and precautions adapted by people. So the original crime are pretty much solved i.e laws are set for it ,(such as assualt , theft, homicide, kidnapping)but the rise of the new functioning society lead to new crimes that the orginal laws, rules or values can't solve. So crimes haven't really reduced but have manifested differently with the new era.( such as abortion issues, child Custody and such .... )
Though I could be wrong as I do not have profound knowledge on this area.
Am Samson Johnson criminology students in national open university Nigeria I respect ur teaching Mr Tim Newburn .

Crime is very complex. Too damn complex for categorization and classification.
I wish to be a criminologist online. Please Google, help me.
Short? It’s a whole ass hour ☠️☠️
criminology is a very large thing to learn about lmaoo so even if its only an hour, its very short compared to what he couldve done💀💀
Why do people criminal?
Someone told them to follow their passion
Genetic, psychopath, sociopath,poor people, necessity
engrish
jennie kim lol blink?
Expensive book, hehehe
well this 4 years old lecture didn't age well. In the past 3 years the US has widely enacted the soft on crime policies based on these ideas that incarceration and policing don't reduce crime, and what do you know, crime is back on the rise. This unfortunately is what happens when one studies crime from one's comfort of a ivory tower.
Oral sex is still a crime.
Is criminology a science
Yes
ChatGPT ♥️♥️
I'm surprised this man has a neck at all!
Bruh
What do you mean?
nope. crime is that behaviour or lack of behaviour which results in harm to another.
Some crime causes harm to others, but there are many crimes, depending on country/State , that hurt or harm no one. Jay walking is one example.
He should keep his hands away from his nose. Very distracting.
3:40 😵3 minutes into the talk my eyes are getting heavy.. for the life of me, is there anyone alive that can make this subject come ‘alive’ / interesting? Now I know why I love medical science 🧫 🧪 🧬 and spent most of my life dedicated to it; still the ‘curiosity’ does not leave me. Maybe 🤔 the focus takes too long.. “what is criminology “ almost 10 min later.
