Installed a Cobra exhaust on a 1996 Suzuki Intruder. The camera angles are crap but I think there is enough good information to get you what you may need. I have chapters to help bounce around.

Wow that sounds GREAT! and that's with the baffles in! I just bought a set for my 1400 Intruder, looking forward to fitting them just waiting on some exhaust port torque cones as I'm thinking of going without the baffles. Thanks for a great video.👍

I don’t know what exhaust you have on yours but the one we put on this was makes a world of difference.
@@TSWGarage614 I believe it’s a jardine. I love the sound. And I have another 96 with the stock header piece and extended wide slashed cut pipes and that thing sounds deep and mean more of a rumble then throaty compared to the jardine! Good luck on the build! Super fun bike to take out
I put a set of Cobra Dragster pipes on a 2002 VL1500 Intruder, cobra pipes sound great on these bikes
Yeah they made a HUGE difference!!
I have Vance Hines on mine and the sound is wicked, sends some Harley owners crazy if I follow them cause the only sound they hear is me behind them 😇
@@Angel-Adramelech lol Some Harley owners can’t handle the fact they don’t have the best thing out there.
So the carburetor and airfilters were stock at the moment you installed pipes? did you needed to adjust mixture screws to get it run?
Ended up having to put a different needle in it.
I've got 2 of these and neither is ridable! When attempting to run above idle they both run on 1 cyl and the other pops like a 410 shot gun. Any idea what I need to do?
I know the owner pulled the carburetor and put a different needle in it. Then had to mess with the air/fuel mixture.
My system crosses over in front of battery for dual staggered right side slash cut mufflers.
Leaving rear cylinder more cooling air flow.
Battery box and lower frame void leaves a perfect pass through.
What system do you have.
@@TSWGarage614 It’s cobra on a 92 1400 since new works flawlessly all these years. Took baffles out except for short amount and end caps. It sounds and looks gorgeous.
That’s awesome! This thing sounded like a totally different bike. We took the baffles out also. I really like them.
Did you get a video of installing the needles with the dynojet kit?
No, unfortunately not. Getting the carbs out and back in is the hardest part. Sorry about that😢

I put the cobra 2in drags on my 01, heres what I found out, Im running the factory pro stage one kit, with the OEM baffles in I was not happy with the performance, when I took the baffles out the bike was louder and faster, I then put in the big city thunder baffles, which are actually the old school "lollypops" and they give some midrange torque back, I cant say for cetain if many intruders were like mine , but mine liked that setup, did you notice any difference without the baffles in terms of performance?
Well we took the baffles out right off the rip so I can't say for sure. They are still out. We did notice the front cylinder was lean so we had to add more fuel in.
Factory pro has the stage one kit, its jets and needles and give some recomendations for this exact setup, I do like the sound of the open drags for sure, but not certain that in terms of performance it has the best power all around, mine never had the OEM on so I could tell, but the OEM had the connecting pipe as well as being tuned for it, in this case for me, Ill take the sound the drags have to offer

we did put different needles in it after we did some research. The sound was what they were looking for in general. It sounded like a Jetsons machine with stock stuff on it.

Need to jet kit that thing bad
New needle was out in and that had to be adjusted later but seems to be running fine.

@SaNyAZloyPunk I’m not sure what size we put in. I’ll ask the guy that did the work on the carb. Я не уверен, какой размер мы вставили. Я спрошу парня, который работал с карбюратором.
