- Wondering if the ErgoPrisms live up to the hype?? In this two-part series I will be reviewing the @LumaDent_Inc ErgoPrisms (3.3 magnification). In this video you will see what the process is like getting fitted for the loupes remotely, the unboxing and set up, and my initial reactions trying them on for the first time.
Stay tuned! I'll be using these loupes for about a month in clinic and then I'll be making another video about how I like them. I'll be evaluating how they perform compared to traditional loupes, if they improve my ergonomics, if I like the adjustable working distance feature, how the 3.3 magnification with expanded field works for me, and many more aspects.

How would it work for lets say Linguals of UL side? I am a RDH and move all over just wondering will this work for me 🤔Thanks
It seems like it would be weird but as long as your positioning is good you will have excellent visibility and ergonomics:)

Hi Jasmine! Do you like these better than the Q optics loupes?
Oof such a tough question! I truly love my q-optics 3.5 and I could honestly say I like these just as much. I think they are pretty well matched up. The advantage of the q-optics is that they have more reps in more areas so there is some more on site support, and the benefit of the lumedent ErgoPrisms is the ergonomics. Other than that they are extremely similar in terms of design, weight and quality. Also I think I do like the lumadent light better. It has a shorter battery life, but it comes with a backup so that makes up for it, and the short wire and attachment around the shoulder area is nice compared to the hip attachment with a-optics.
Have you had any trouble seeing with these loupes in different proceedures? debating gettting the 4X mag
Not at all, the expanded field is money 👌 you can definitely go up in magnification and still be good!

How are they for extractions and implants
I typically dont use magnification for extractions! I haven’t done an implant myself yet, but I would imagine they would be great if magnification is needed.
How much it's Wight ? Is it available in other countries ? How many it's price?

What magnification did you choose?
I got the 3.3 and I think they are great! I’ve done SRPs, fillings, and RCT with them. I think if you do a lot of endo a higher mag would be really good too 👍
