  • The Ergoprism Loupes: www.lumadent.com/ergoprism-tt...
    🦷🧠 Changing the game. Neck problems run rampant in the dental world, and after only two years in dentistry, I have already found myself struggling with these issues. LumaDent has solved the problem with their Ergoprism loupes which eliminate the declination angle of traditional loupes using a prism to redirect light to your eyes. These loupes are incredible, and I am so happy to be bringing you my unboxing and first impression of the 5.0X Lumadent Ergoprisms! Find out why these loupes are so important and why you should consider making them your daily driver in your dental clinic.

    So much energy in this video, had such a good time watching it! Thanks for all the effort you put into this Stephen, it's a fantastic video.
    P.S. how did you get such a nice background and effects for the product shots, did you put the loupes in front of your PC monitor? Honestly so cool seeing the production quality just jump up again and again!

    Great video! I’m looking into getting these after years of neck pain as a hygienist. My orascroptics broke so I’ve been loupe free for about two weeks and it’s crazy how much less pain I have. I think its best to either use ergo loupes or none at all. all of the other ones make you lean over to see better, the angle you were talking about in the video. Never knew there was a name for it! Anyway great video and looking forward to seeing your full review

    Nice video. I've been doing dentistry for 42 years, looking at buying some kind of ergo loupes.

    I ordered the Admetec ergonomic loupes. I will receive them in a few weeks. You should reach out to the company and see if you can do a review on them. My reason for choosing admetec ergonomic loupes was build quality (plastic vs metal) and magnification. I got the 6x. Admetec ergonomic loupes go all the way up to 10x.

      Thanks for the comment! The idea of greater magnification is definitely interesting! It is wild that they achieved 10x in an ergonomic loupe. I will say the build quality of these LumaDent loupes has really impressed me! These will last me for many years in my career

      Yup I can confirm the 10x ergo admetecs are great. Amazing for endo, fixed pros and even resto. Probably the closest to a "microscope experience" you can get in a loupe. But I must admit the optic quality in my 5.5 orascoptics and 5.0 zeiss is noticeably better vs the ergos.

    Hi! How was the ergonomics of the Orascoptic loupes? And what about the weight of the orascoptic is it something that you wish was lighter or it's ok?

    Are they worth the price difference I feel like they are kinda overpriced because like u showed in the video the magnification of a 5x is basically the same as a normal 3.5x so the only advantage here are the ergoprisms so are they really worth it over other top tier loupes like univet or designs for vision for example ?

  • @jeffreycuellar9984
    @jeffreycuellar9984 Před rokem +1

    Do you think the 4.5 X ergo from Designs for vision is a true 4.5?

    • @stephenraydentist
      @stephenraydentist  Před rokem

      Thanks for the comment, but I have no way of knowing for sure! In my experience, a prism loupe will always be at a lower mag than a conventional loupe. They should probably do the conversion for us and call them what they really are but they don't seem to do that!
