- Something circular (tape)
- Prismacolor Black (PC 935)
- Prismacolor White (PC 938)
- Prismacolor Non-Photo Blue (PC 919)
- Prismacolor Indigo Blue (PC 901)

I just wanted to say how much this helped me! I just started drawing, less then a week ago, and this is just a great tutorial
its amazing how much more enjoyable drawing is when you have good, easy to follow instruction. Took art class in school in early 2000 and didn't enjoy draw any where near as much or progress any where near as quickly. CZcams content creators like this do so much good for people.

I love the way that you only used colour pencil and didn't use any blending materials and solvent and didn't used white pen for highlights 😍

I've been looking for a good tutorial on drawing irises with colored pencils. This is the first I've found that has helped me improve. I don't like supposed tutorials that time lapse with no instructions. Those are useless to me. Ty for not doing that. This tutorial is awesome. I realize this is a few years old but ty so much!

Oh, you have helped me so much. I’m going to watch this another time and on the third time I’ll work along with you. If you do portraits , do you include eyes with such detail. It seems to me that working on a small scale in a portrait would be impossible. You would not have sharp enough points.

Ive been looking for someone to draw so realisticly for so long guess i found him
This video is amazingly detailed and I will be using it to help me start trying to make eyes. However, I do wish you had discussed paper... as it is a very important material to consider. Currently I am trying to better my colored pencil skills.... and paper is the challenge for me. Textured paper is what I need to master with colored pencils. I feel like trying to do an eye on my heavily textured paper would be difficult with all of the fine strokes. Any tips for doing this on textured paper?
