    It would be more interesting if you tuned it with the S2000 manifold first & then swapped, that way we could see what effect the cams had & then the new intake manifold.

    That tool for adjusting the rockers I got with my s2000. Super useful. Makes me doubly want my own k swapped 240sx then. Hard top and manual valve adjustments?

    I think you can just buy different hats for the injectors. They should all be 14mm

    I got a broken screwdriver heated the end bent it over welded it 2 a tube socket put a flat head screwdriver down the end and thats my valve lash tool

    Should have went with loss motion lifters as well while you are down there but I understand you guys are in a rush and need to get stuff done

    Run the current manifold and injectors. Then show the difference with the k manifold. That thing isn't cheap. It'd be nice to know if it only makes 5hp over the current one so I don't have to buy it.

    Reinstall the S2000 Manifold and Injectors and dyno the motor with that setup, then switch it to the K Manifold and RDX Injectors and do a dyno on that setup to see the benefits/differences between the two

    Yes electronically limiting VTC to 45 degree works untill you mishft into a lower gear and boom, there goes the engine. I have lost one fully built K-24 worth 15000$ to this money shift. So always phyically limit them if using on a k24 engine. K24 stroke is longer, so at high rpms(11000-12000 RPm which happens in a mis-shift) piston slams into valves, valve drops and .....

    Lol at your tuner. Honda ECUs have logic to occasionally take the VTC gear to 50° to clean them also if you over rev the thing and there's no mechanical stop you'll easily pass 40°. Yikes

    I didnt get to enjoy my s13 cause it got stolen and chopped a week after buying it but i imagine i would have swapped a k24 k20 in there buy now

      They can make sick turbo power on a stock motor so I hardly think the N/A build these guys are doing is going to break it.

      Mark Walton should be fine unless they want to rev over 9k rpm in which case you’d want lighter pistons and rods for less reciprocating weight inside the engine

      Stock the K24 will rev to 7.5k safe to 8k but I would've thought those cams would need 9k to make the Jam(power).
      Expect a rebuild 😁

      I have the same set up. I rev to 8600rpm daily for 3 years now. K24a2 block is stout.

      But many 240 guys have swapped to them already it’s cheap and it makes good power power N/a and boosted it’ll handle 500whp without touching bottom end

      S chassis would appreciate the hp in the top revs but, given its wheelbase and weight a larger displacement engine with midrange grunt would be more suited imo. I'm looking at you LS and RB haha

    Speaking of FedEx losing things. I ordered a swingset/slide for my daughter the first week of June. FedEx loses it for 2 weeks. I'm not sure how you LOSE a 130lb package. I report it lost, and then lo and behold it arrives at my house yesterday after they said they couldn't find it and it was surely lost.

    That can't be the proper way to crack and torque down those sprocket bolts.... What about leaving it in the motor and have someone hold the cam with a wrench just to crack it loose first?
