- The Cottonwood Narrows Trail is a simple and easy hike with plenty of stunning scenery located just off of Cottonwood Canyon Rd in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It started getting well below freezing and the nights became less enjoyable for camping in Utah so this was are final hike in our favorite state for hiking before heading further south to Arizona. This was hike was a beautiful and relaxing way to finish a long and adventurous month+ in Southern Utah.

Pretty footage with nature captured and cool music
I cannot believe how good this video was. The scenery is out of this world.
Just another mind blowing canyon in Utah
Another very nice hike. Thanks. I'm an old dude too so I thought I'd bend your ear with a little (I think funny) story. Years ago I was on a dirt road exploring when I cam across a tarantula also. At that time I was using a Sony Mavica camera that recorded on a 3.5" floppy disk. I got close to the tarantula and made a movie of it moving across the road. It seemed that it was making a noise as it moved. It was quite an unusual noise like a series of random tones. After I got home I watched the movie and sure enough there was the sound. Many times I would tell people that tarantulas make a weird sound when they walk on the ground. They would say "wow, I didn't know that." I used to play the movie to amaze them. Then, months later I was recording another movie and heard the same sounds. It turns out that the sounds were coming from my camera. In fact, the sounds were coming from the color display on the back of the camera. I still laugh when I replay that movie.
Pretty canyon. Looking forward to seeing your adventures around Sedona.
We did 4 hikes there that I think will make good videos!
