    Installing concealed hinges on a cabinet door can be done yourself.#DIY This method requires no jig or template and very minimal tools. Installation of each hinge is virtually the same. These hinges are designed to mount to the back of the door. A forstner drill bit is required to drill the door to allow for the cup hinges. If you are looking to replace your worn out hinges for some nice and shiny Blum hinges, look no further!

I was able to buy the drill bit at lowes for 13 bucks. I was concerned about measuring and keeping the holes centered and square and was just going to wing it :-) You made it simple and easy to measure and keep everything perfect. Flip the hinge with the mounting plate up,,then measure from the door to the centre of the mounting plate,,usually 30mm,,but come back a few mm to,28mm,,and mark where the holes are going,(drill the holes with the screws for the mounting plate) take the mounting plate of ,and centre it on your marks and screw to the carcass ,then spring the hinge onto the mounting plate,,( best try a trial run first on a scap piece, ),,hope that was helpful,,👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      @DoingitWithjason  Před 4 lety

      What I do is hold The door and the proper position with the hinge against the cabinet and carefully open the door and make a mark on the bottom of the plate. This works really well to get a ballpark measurement and make a spacer that will hold the hinge along with the door in the proper position to screw it in.You can also go by the manufacturers recommendation of where to put the holes but depending on if it's insane overlay etc Just seems to be the easiest way to at least get one especially when you have like 20 more doors to do after the fact.Thank you very much for watching this video I really appreciate it and I hope this helped please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Cant seem to find a good video of how to actually install the door to the inside of the cabinet. Once the hardware is placed into each side it seems like they have to clip into each other. I find this to be a difficult process, one of mine fell out and I can't get it back in. Ended up removing the top hinge and now I can't get any of the two back on. On most videos you just see the person pressing and they're done. I've tried to press in many different ways and adjust before pressing in different ways but they don't go in. Please help.
