I finally subscribed kid I love this video & beat so coool just a smooth vibe I really liked the other one that u did when u used ur phone with that club beat my favorite oh man I have so many questions to ask u I have to original turntables technics 1200 MK ll but no mixer grew up in California was around all the Dj scenes (Tony G ) baca boys well u know I always loved that Dj scene but never got around to do it oh also my parents had 3,000 45’s I grew up around music that’s for sure but I really want to buy a Rane one or a Rane MK12 or even what ur playing in this video the pioneer but not sure what’s the one for me I want the Rane 12’s because I really want the feel of the original turntables so what do u recommend
i am studying these tutorials its the best to learn

👊🏾
@djTLMtv Can I ask what settings you are using in Rev 7 Setting Utility? Or even in the controller's utility itself? Thx
I think 🤔 I’ve found my next controller!!🔥🔥
It is a beast!
The Leader (of) Mellow (beats) 😎🔥🔥🔥 - scratches are hella fresh…. Curious about the sound you’re using, too… seems like a self-made TLM piece of miniature sonics
Thanks bro. No, that sound was pre-loaded onto the controller. Pretty dope sounds
Hi TLM! I have had a Rev7 for about 2 weeks now and I love it overall. But, I have had an issue with marker drift when beat juggling. My marker starts at 12 O'clock and after about a dozen juggles ends up at 1 O'clock. 🤔 This happens even with the instant scratch beat loop without a laptop plugged in. So it can't be a Serato issue. Have you noticed this same issue? I figured u would be a good person to ask as you are a dope turntablist. Thanks! 😁
dj tlm AWESOME SRACTCHES BRO Where is the your link tonget this bannging beat?
Thanks! The link is in the description box under the video👍🏾
Bro I want to see you put it to the REAL TEST. I've seen you go hard, we need to know if those plastic plates can take some hard core battle style activity.
I’m streaming with the REV7 on Monday. At least two hours💪🏾💪🏾
Now that's what im talking about! Cant wait! 💪👍
Can I record the Pioneer effects inside of Serato Dj for mix purposes? If not, how can I record into my DAW (Ableton) or Serato Studio?
No, I don’t think Serato records the onboard Pioneer fx.
To record your set in Ableton (or any DAW), you need to connect the output from your DJ gear to the computer. To do that you would need an audio interface
@@djTLMtv thanks for the reply. Technically The Rev 7 is an interface…. Dayuuum…
Благодарю за уроки, мне очень необходимо видеть это
Does it need to be plug to laptop to use in scratch mode? Nice clean cuts as always
No, it’s actually not connected to the computer in this video👍🏾
@@djTLMtv well that’s quite impressive
What do you like more the Rane One? or the Rev7?
REV7 for me💯
what is the name of the scratch that you do at 3:15? is that a chirp flare?
No, it’s basically slower and faster chirps. The faster ones are twice the speed of the slower ones
@@djTLMtv Thanks bro , would you be able to demonstrate it in a video / link me to it if already done?
I can show it in an upcoming The Breakdown video
When the said instant scratch i thought they were trying to do us like the Flx 6, or the scratch bank i think in the sb3.
Luckily they listened to the people.
💯💯💯
How much ids it if I subscribe
Bro a quick question for you in regards to setting up and using a Podcast Machine. What do you recommend. I also I am planing on visiting the Netherlands for a vacation this summer, would like your input when visiting your Hometown.
Are you talking specifically about the RØDEcaster Pro? If so, let me know what I can help you with.
As far as visiting Amsterdam, I find it hard to say anything right now. We’re currently in a lockdown again and I have no idea how the summer’s going to turn out. I should know more in the coming months though
@@djTLMtv I am considering the Rodecaster Pro vs Tascam Mix4. I Need the insight from a real Dj and not someone just promoting for a free item or working directly from the company. I still want to visit whenever the pandemic is lifted.
@@demetriuswilliams4468 I haven't tried the Tasam Mix4, and I don't know too much about it. From what I did see I can say it looks like a great alternative to the Rodecaster Pro. So I don't know how they match up from a price point and/or if the Tascam has features that aren't available on the Rodecaster.
I've only worked with the Rodecaster Pro, and I love it. They also added new features, and Rode actually releases lots of updates for a lot of their gear.
You probably can't go wrong with either of these devices.
@@djTLMtv thanks bro. Both prices are the same and the Tascam Mix4 has a software added to the machine. I don’t like buying things twice, so I will go with the Rodecaster Pro since it’s a proven machine. What Mics do you recommend and ones to stay away from? Right now my Dj equipment is from the Rane line up of 72, and 12, also a Rane one. On the other side I have Pioneer S11, Denon SC5000 or the Reloop RP 8000. It causing how I feel when I am practicing or doing a party etc. I have 3 area set up in my lab. So I want to start a Podcast not just DJing for real life events because I ride Motorcyles also. Thanks in advance for the information. Lastly the cameras you are using or my way to Guitar Center after breakfast
@@demetriuswilliams4468 I think there are a lot of great mics available. I'm using the PodMics and I'm very happy with those. Great prices, built like a tank. As far as camera's go, there are so many to choose from. Do you already have cameras?
Hey TLM, would you say it’s around the same size as a DDJ SX OR DDJ DZ ?
I don’t know the size of the DZ, and I haven’t seen an SX in a while, but I’d say it’s roughly the same size as the SX. Probably a bit bigger
And way heavier!😁
@@djTLMtv thanks TLM! I meant SZ , not DZ
The Rev10 coming soon and it's better.
No, it’s not (coming)
@@djTLMtv How do you know
@TLM : What's your take on the DDJ REV 7 so far?
I really like it a lot!
@@djTLMtv I can't wait to get. Had to put it on reserve since it's coming to Montreal Canada 🇨🇦 late February
So this or the Rane one ??
Well, that’s for you to decide. For me, it’s the REV7 all day
So the rev 7 is pretty legit lol. It does still sound like a jogwheel when scratching. Just with more control.
It sounds like a jog wheel? How does that sound? Like digital in stead of vinyl sound? Or something else?
And would you say that you hear the same thing when someone is using Phase on a turntable?
@@djTLMtv yea I think it sounds too digital when scratching still... whereas the rane one sounds mor vinyl...to me... just my opinion... But I definitely dont think I think the same about phasing on a turntable... more so just with scratching, you can kinda hear a difference between the jogwheels or platters... and the Rev 7 seems to have stayed with the same style platter effect as they have used with their jogwheel controllers. Its not a terrible thing...just a little disappointing they didnt go for a better vinyl sound for this particular controller. I still think its a great controller and probably the best out especially where moving platters or even just larger jogwheels are concerned.
@@terryjetter1718 I'm having a hard time understanding how the Rane One would sound more like vinyl compared to the REV One when they both simply control the movement of your virtual Serato deck.
So are you saying it's because of the way the jog wheel was constructed? That this would make the movement different and you can hear the difference in the movement? And are you talking about the character of the audio? Because I can not see how a different jog wheel could manipulate the character of the audio.
@@terryjetter1718 I would love to do a blind test with you to see if you could correctly pick what was used to do the scratches.
People want that for scratching?
I don’t know if people want this for scratching, but if they do, they will be just fine with this beast
