- Can we rescue a drowning deer trapped in a canal lock? After being alerted by a towpath walker we find a deer struggling to stay afloat after falling into the deep water of the canal lock. We go into animal rescue mode!
We run ahead to try and rescue the deer but can't see it when we arrive which makes us fear the worst. Can we save the poor animal?
Colin retells the story of the Shipton-on-Cherwell train crash. One of the worst rail disasters in the Great Western Railway's history. He also uncovers the world-famous Shipton Manor recording studio now owned by a Marquess!

Apologies if anyone else in the comments has mentioned this. The Manor was the first residential recording studio in the UK and where Mike Oldfield at the age of 19 recorded the little know Tubular Bells. Released in 1973 it was the first release on the newly formed Virgin label and the rest as they say is history!
