  • Voters turned out to defend abortion rights in Tuesday’s elections as Democrats racked up big wins across the U.S. “I don't know who needs to hear this in the Republican party, since you all keep trying, even though voters keep telling you over and over, but abortion is a problem for you,” Joy Reid says on The ReidOut.

But that's not what is happening here. Equality should happen across the board. If the government can own women's bodies, it should also own men's bodies. He is actually talking about the opposite of a republic, where one group of people has less rights than another. The people are voting to keep the republic in tact, by voting that ALL people have a right to choose what happens to their body.

My SIL is a geneticist . She explained the particular CRUELTY of the 15 week abortion ban to me.
MOST tests of the foetus will not display genetic abnormalities until around 20 weeks. That’s why the test for Down syndrome is done around the 20 week mark
So a woman with an UNWANTED pregnancy would probably know well before the 15th week that she had an oopsie and would have aborted the foetus
However if a woman is still carrying the foetus at 15 weeks or more than it’s a WANTED baby and will choose to abort only if there are severe abnormalities in the foetus or if carrying on the pregnancy is seriously endangers the mothers life.
And it is at precisely that point that Youngkin and other GOPs would stop a FAMILY from deciding what is best for themselves and their foetus.
As a woman and a mother and a wife I will never allow the government to decide whether I should abort a foetus or not. That’s a decision for ME and my family including my children who might be saddled with the care and maintenance of a disabled sibling for the rest of their lives to make.
That’s why there cannot be any CONDITIONS which the government should impose.

My Mum and I were talking about abortion a week or so ago. She said one of her more distant family had three girls. The oldest had some mental issue, she doesn't know what, but she was toddler stage at 6. The youngest only survived as she was born at a specialised London hospital and still only lived 18 months. She visited them when the middle was 5 and the youngest was still alive. The mother spent all her time looking after the youngest, the father looked after the oldest. The middle child who was fine told my Mum she wished she was disabled. Mum never forgot a 5 year old telling her that. She said she never would have carried a disabled child.

As a devout Christian, the thing is that God gave all mankind free will and it is written "Let each man seek his own salvation with fear and trembling". We are called to spread the good news. Not litigate it, impose it on others or decide for anyone else that our own personal convictions must be forced upon them. We're all just trippin through this one life that we've got. Most of us are doing the best we can with what we have to work with and all in all, the majority of us have no problem with following social norms. Just because I believe or don't believe in something, especially in the United States of all places, shouldn't take others personal freedoms from them. Don't believe in abortion? Then don't have one! Therein lies just one of the hundreds of contradictions in the bible myths. Do we have free will or does your god have a plan?
If we have free will, then your god cannot have a plan. Nothing is set in stone. Nothing is predetermined. There can be no plan.
If your god has a plan, then we have no free will. Everything is set in stone. Everything is predetermined. There can be no free will.

The Saudi government is beginning to realize this, Iran has yet to, and Conservatives in the US are finding out as of yesterday. Abortion always existed as far back as ancient Egypt, also before it became law woman often controlled their own fertility, it was wealthy doctors that payed off our government in order to get midwives out of business that brought about the u.s 1st set of abortion laws . We even still use the same shaming tactic today and yes the bible mentions nothing about abortions other then cursing unfaithful wives of a miscarriage, because woman were viewed as a man's property

It should have always been state rights. Thank God for the Supreme Court

It should have always been the right of the free individual citizens of the United States. The Supreme Court took a right from the People and gave it to Government, expanding Government power.

Such decisions should’ve never became political.
Individual healthcare is not a political choice, it’s an individual choice.

God has nothing to do with it
Political grift that desires a domestic supply of infants and future low wage workers had something to do with it

You would think it's healthier to take a pill instead of having a fetus sucked out of ya. That's just me tho.

99%.... abortion would never be an issue if they used it. No one cares about 1%.

Most abortions in the United States ARE done by pill, causing the pea sized blob of mucus to be flushed out with the next menstrual flow.

@@dereknelson3080BC doesn't always work like it should. Many times, complications occur. There are countless reasons why any woman might need one, and not one of those reasons is your business.

There is a margin of error. Human or mechanical error.
Abortion is a solution to a failed prevention.
