I’m a 72 yo Vietnam era veteran. I call upon all men and women of honor to stand united in calling for Alito to resign or be removed from office. He has violated his oath of office, or maybe he has forgotten what that oath entailed. So here’s a reminder.
I, Samuel Alito, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as a justice of the Supreme Court, under the Constitution and laws of the United States. The same goes for Clarence Thomas, resign or be removed as you have sold your seat on the court and your soul to the billionaire class in the US and possibly the world.

My how times have changed! In 1970 two of my classmates were thrown out of the after prom party because they wore matching outfits with red and white stripes and blue stars. Not even in a flag form. Now cops wear desecrated flags on their uniforms, SC justices break flag code and nothing is done. 🙄
Ari may have left out that the U.S. Flag Code is not binding law. It would be different for a government or military building, but for normal civilians it’s a set of recommendations.
Just for trivia purposes, also against flag code includes:
- using the flag as clothing, bedding, or drapery (clothing includes an exception for a flag patch worn on the uniforms of military, fire, and police personnel and “members of patriotic organizations” and an exception for flag lapel pins, always on the left)
- using the flag for advertising purposes (including putting it on cushions or handkerchiefs or anything disposable)
- placing any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature in the flag or any part thereof
- allowing the flag to touch something physically beneath it (generally other flags on the same pole)
- carrying the flag flat or horizontally
- using it to receive, carry, hold, or deliver anything
In fact the flag code is the same level of misdemeanor as illegal border crossing (look it up) so his wife needs to be in a cage like those kids at the southern border

Mr Alito, when we were very young , my father caught my brother in a lie. He sat both of us and told us.that once we lie we become used to saying lies! He further said to us that no matter how much education we acquired, no matter what position in life we reached , and how much money we accumulated, and we lie people will know us as liars! The worst part of being known as a liar , is that when we die , people will not remember us for our accomplishments or good deeds, they will remember us as liars ! When i learned about the Supreme Court and paid attention of the prestige of this court in our country I paid attention to last names, faces and was very proud of America land where I was born ,land of my parents birthplace ! I noticed and knew most of the names and saw foreign names and people with different colors then mine,and i was proud! You, Thomas, and Kavanaugh, have made me less proud because of who you are as persons ! And the court holds no importance in my heart anymore! I remember the day Justice Jackson was being confirmed and saw Ted Cruz with much disrespect obviously angry yelling and intimidating her and i felt anger because I felt the attack was unnecessary! I kept thinking is that because she is a female or black! It doesnt matter to me now! Nobody will remember your accomplishments!

If the Senate can confirm the nomination of a SC justice, they ought also have the power and the right to review and recommend removal of those justices, based on their performance within Law.

This is why alito doesn’t recuse. The conservatives in the SC, lower courts, republicans all hold the view that conservatism is the ideology that must prevail and therefore they will rule to see that that happens. It’s not that they love the incompetent and corrupt trump. He’s just their tool. They will adhere to the constitution or the laws only when it serves to aid their cause.
