- First pick of this interesting Chinese lock, as far as I know. It's a six pin in pin, (of which two outers are set by active elements on the key) plus a four slider sidebar. A quick look at the key will reveal that it's an attempt at cloning the Mul-T-Lock MT5+ - more homage than copy really - but with much poorer manufacturing tolerances and overall poorer quality. Still, it's the best Chinese lock I've seen in a while and in my view they got it half right. It's also sometimes known as a "Five Colours Lock" but is considerably different to other locks of this name from the same manufacturer.
What a great pick Michael. Very impressive video. 👍👍👍👍🧡
There are only a handful of Locksporters, I know of, who publish videos that are infornative and interesting as yours. Another good one my friend 👍
I totally agree my friend, Michael is amasing and is naturally talented in everything he does.🤓✌
Great work Mr Maynard!
Great vid Michael, I dunno how you pick and explain at the same time, you make it look easy. Well picked and gutted, you are an Ambassador to the locksporters of the world.🍺✌😎🙋♂️🇦🇺
Seriously good stuff. Bravo
Great picking as always. Thanks for sharing and take care mate.
Buddy, congrats on the First! Great work Micheal :)
Another awsome video my friend
Congratulations buddy, nicely picked, and now you have a first to your name as well😍😎😎😎👍
Yup, you picked it, but why did the cylinder stop where it did?
As great as your picking is, I'd be way more impressed if your setup made you pick equivalent to a "real door" rather than in a vise where you can position your tensioning hand in positions that are completely impossible in the real world.,... It's equivalent to the stupidity pulled by manufacturers handbooks for cars where they seem to assume you either have 3 hands, or arms with 4 joints to reach into *actually* impossible to access positions.... Mounted in a vise where hand positioning isn't obstructed by a vertical plane makes it unrealistic.
I can see it as legitimate for "challenge locks" which are also an "unrealistic" situation.. but it's kinda "cheating" for standard commercial locks a locksmith would face "fitted" rather than "loose with free access".
