Something lost in this discussion is the industrial and skill base that is required to even set up an eco-system of support industries for a sector like space.
A company which makes bicycles cannot suddenly gain the precision tooling expertise, skilled manpower and professionalism to start making high end engineered goods.
Also, China is not the US. If it wants to make high precision parts for a massive engineering program, no country in the world comes close to getting it done with speed, efficiency, and low cost as China itself. Why would China look at a third country, with sketchy infrastructure, security and technical manpower issues, when it can do a much better job at scale and on the cheap, itself? Europe and the US have a need to outsource. China doesn't. Wrong horse to bet on.

Actually CHINA never failed a single lunar mission from Chang'e 1 to 6 and is the only country in the whole world (NOT EVEN USA ) that landed a mission on the far side of the Moon. China also ACTUALLY never failed a Mars mission because it was Russia's rocket that had on it China 2011 Mars mission that failed because thrusters of the spacecraft could not fire on right time so technically China didn't fail because the Rocket of Russia failed and this motivated China to develop and pursue independent Mars missions . To prove my point , when China used their own Long March-5 Heavy rocket then they successfully launched and landed Mars mission and Chang'e 5 and ongoing Chang'e 6 missions .India is also going very good in space and the day is not far when SpaceX will join ISRO and make ISRO a truly invincible organization in Space but for sample return missions India needs heavy rocket which it does not have right now.

Br0 its commendable act by Pakistan ,, india also send aryabhatta satelite with the herlp of Russia's in 1975, but after than we bulit slowly our own indigenous technology - cryogenic engine , ,( only 6 country has). Own rocket ( 12 country have own rocket) , own space port , own navigation ( only 5 country has own navigation indigenous technology) , own series of space port , different types of rocket engine, reusable rocket, privatization of space industry, and then will send 2008 ...rocket to moon - chandrayan 1, mars oribit mission - 2013, 104 satellite in single rocket-2016, chandrayan - 2( orbitor successful) , chandrayan -3 ( lander and rover in south pole) , adityaa L-1( sun mission) ,, and our ambition is way big - this year we will lunch - gaganyan( crew mission to space) , chandrayan -4, Jaxa + isro - moon mission , mars rover mission, venus mission, own space station, ( for 3 person to stay for 15 days), chandrayaan -5 ( sending man to moon) ,, so if Pakistan starts the way india starts in 1975 the will be a good space power in 2050...if they won't ... already 50 years behind ..then 100 saal piche ho jaoge

A journey of 1000 miles start with a first step. Be proud of the small satellite built and launched through Chinese mission. But the big part is, there should be a space mission and vision. First and foremost, have a technocrat as SUPARCO chief. Whichever institution you take, it is headed by an ex defense guy. Does that present chief even know the motive of SUPARCO? Relying on Chinese is foolish. They will never help. They will always see a return of investment. If they were true friends, by this time all your debts should have been cleared. I wish you all the best.

When Pakistan can make atom bomb then Pakistan can also do well in space programme. If Pakistan doesnot do then it's meaning is that Pakistan doesnot want to do space programme. Pakistan thinks it westage of money.

Where is the proof that the satellite is sending the data and Pakistan is receiving the data? Han…behen bhai se hi kaam chalao…its good to c that Pakistani public is so relaxed thinking whatever capability China has and it is bound to provide all that capability….whereas China is denying CPEC2…anyway…what can we say…Pakistan can not even make a major size computer otherwise it would have been a very large electronics and software industry…so where is the capability of making miniaturise electronic circuit? What nonsense…
