    Dominance of Punjabi Muslims in every aspect of Pakistan is the reason. They don't realize that living with other ethnicities unitedly helps grow as a country. Baluchistan issue is not a law and order issue, it cannot be resolved militarily. It is a political issue and you should get to the root cause and hear people's voice, represent them in the larger scheme of things. Otherwise external forces will take advantage of the issue to weaken the country.

    This liberation was Boon for Bangladesh . 2day its rising very fast . Its growth is 5-6% . Its much much ahead in every sector when compared to Pakistan.
    If sidhis r intelligent they wud also have done away with the main Centre of disease of this whole region and that is PAKISTANI punjab. The day sindh will liberated , sindh economy will boom like bangladesh and can turn into a South Korea. Sindh which has peaceful Entrepreneurial race like Gujaratis of india , it has Karachi port , it has massive cotton belt which was once producing top quality cotton and probably cotton cultivation started from here.

      Only when the bizarre romanticism of left leaning Indian elite ends. No such romanticism exists towards Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan, Srilanka or even China. It's irrational, something like Stockholm syndrome. Even during the cold war, many leftist Americans were inclined towards USSR, so this problem of romanticism is not unique to us. Read about the Thapar family, they have been pro Pakistan no matter what happened, even after 2008 Mumbai attack, Karan Thapar was writing pro Pakistan op-eds. There are tons of such people here.

    There is no question that ARMY is the biggest culprit and one to blame at first in every bad thing ever happen to PAKISTAN.(I mean it)
    But there is no way you can defend Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in any way as you are defending in this video, He just could have refused to take the government.
    He took the government PAKISTAN was divided, the exact problem we are facing right now, politician don’t sit together for their own powers and let army have the power as always which started there.

      Bacha khan was also known as frontier Gandhi because of his closeness to Gandhi. He fought for our independence and was against formation of Pakistan. Somehow he knew about Pakistani Muslim military attitude and told congress leaders that they have thrown us to the wolves. He was not a rebel but his fears did come true, sadly. Pakistanis are not told about so many freedom fighters but that’s because they are appointed by British/Americans, raised on their funds, devouring citizens of any resources.

    To understand what led to Bangladesh and other secessionist movements in Pakistan you have to read the 1940 Lahore resolution for formation of Pakistan which described Pakistan as "the areas in which the Muslims are numerically in a majority as in the North Western and Eastern Zones of (British) India should be grouped to constitute ‘independent states’ in which the constituent units should be autonomous and sovereign."
    This describes Pakistan as a federation of autonomous states and not one nation state.
    It was not the common man in East Pakistan but the intellectuals particularly the economists who were responsible for demand of greater autonomy to East Pakistan.
    A Harvard educated Bengali economist had predicted the breakup of Pakistan to Gen Ayub Khan in 1960.
    These facts are missing from the popular narrative wrt 1971 both in India and Pakistan.

    • @subhasisghosh66
      @subhasisghosh66 Před měsícem

      The economist that you mention is Anisur Rahman. He and some fellow economists from East Pakistan advocated redistribution of resources from West to East Pakistan. When this was turned down in spite of being completely logical he is quoted to have said "West Pakistanis would rather hand over real political power to the Chinese than give it to the Bengalis"
