Yes. Go on amazon and lookup Speedtalk prepaid card. You pay 10 bucks for a 5$ credit on the card. Once you get it, call the number on the card and they’ll walk you through it

Numbers matter including the price
These TK STAR Trackers are super, Ignore all those people below who for cant or dont know how to set theirs up, lets face it its not rocket science, for goodness sake, if I can do it without help and i am 71 years old,you can too.just watch the video above. The only things he does not say is that you can use a 4G sim, and you must put it into a mobile phone to register that sim before it will work in your tracker,you must take a note of the new phone number for that sim, and perhaps add £30 or so to the sim, so it works for a while. then just follow what the guy in the video tells you, ie put the new tracker number in your contacts under your tracker, and the just call up your tracker,it will take about 4 mins to text you back its position even if its right next to you indoors, thats all you need to know. happy days

While I've never lost my vehicle, I think this is a great idea if you're concerned about your car or motorcycle getting stolen. I'm looking to invest in a Vespa, and theft is a concern for me. I'm not feeling that monthly subscription like you mentioned though...

What if i buy a sim card and i don't recharge it with any plans, because as far as i know onece you activate the new sim card will take 3 months untill deactivate her self. But on those 3 months you can just recive calls on that sim card. Thank you
I have one of these been using it for about a year. I keep it in my bag at the bottom of my laptop pouch in my bag. Had my bag stolen out my truck and caught the lads but wouldn’t give up where the bag was. It would last a decent amount of time but I move and drive constantly and it will last about 2 and half weeks on the longest setting for communication. You can live track through the app and no need to keep sending texts. It also sends a text when low battery or option for it to trigger on movement. Great tracker
Also I use pay as you go sim on giffgaff in uk and I’m still using the £10 I put on when I first had the tracker.

Regarding the sims, if you got TMobile in it and your phone has TMobile, I believe,it will respond to you even if the credit run out after one month. But in the third months, you have to top up and do the same again. Good luck

in this case, you can instal a wired gps tracker so it always connect your vehicle, never need take gps tracker out for charge

look on aliexpress and dhgate you can pick these up for $30 or less, subscription free just insert an activated sim card. It will report back GPS coordinations that you can open on Google maps or third party basic software.

Hello, the instructions are very helpful. I did all the steps correctly, it showed that it works, but after a few hours it said at the top screen of the app "100% offline battery". Do you know what it means to have a "100% offline battery" if a sim card was normally inserted and the blue light was normally on, at least on the beginning?
APP goes to sleep(offline)after gps tracker keep stationary for 5 minutes, it is the default setting for saving power. 100% battery, it is tracker's battery infromation

@lingjiang3670 hehe yeh i figured that after i bought a few. Doesn't matter where it is. Just ring in and msg the tracker and itll feed back its coordinates. Gotta be ahead of thieves thats out and about. My work vehicle and brothers work vehicle. Including the vehicle and tools is over 60k in car and equipment tools etc. I will not let a thief beat me at my own things.

The setup ideally running a charger while tracker is on when the car starts keep it charging while running also a remote kill switch when stolen and tracked.
Is this a data only plan? T mobile can do that for $10 but device not working. Cheapest talk and text was $30 but no data.

Did you know which sms command I need to send back to the tracker to stop send me this alert sms !?
I didn't use GPRS and didn't use any app or web platform / server.

I am in London UK, I use a Lyca mobile pay as you go its 4G Lte. rated, unlimited mins & texts, £30 put on the sim, works great, once you have first put it into an old phone and done first registration, then get the new phone number so you can then start using it in the tracker,permanently, just remember to top up the card once in a blue moon. happy days

You had mentioned a Tmobile SIM card works with it but can I use my SIM card from my Galaxy Watch Active and alternate between the two?
as long as the sim card work on 2g network and have call,text and traffic data, it is suit for a gps tracker too.
However, if you are in the US, keep in mind that the 2G network will stop being supported throughout the country in 2020. Do not waste your money with this product.

a simple solution is to run an auxiliary usb charging port off the accessory cable of your vehicle. This will provide power when the ignition is turned on. Running it straight from the battery may drain it. An auto electrician would be able to wire it up if you cant do it yourself. the unit itself can be hidden anywhere in the vehicle depending on how much cable is used.
